So, i think EG wins still. ye VP was up 2-0 last time and still lost 3-2 That was different tho, it was on the west coast and VP had already played the loser bracket finals. This time EG is away from home (jetlag) and they don't have the advantage of being completely fresh

Going in too deep a few times didn't matter all that much. its a greedy draft but they executed that perfectly Except it's not a "late game" strategy at all. It's a very effective strategy early game because you have a lot of heal and early on there's no getting through it. People keep talking about teams understanding and preparing for what they're doing but they've been running this tank + heal strategy for months and won every single game from what I remember. In fact, it's not even a new strategy. This strategy was run by a lot of Western teams back in 2015 and they destroyed with it too. yeah mvp played mek bristle + io many times , i wonder why ppd let that pick off his pocket
Because he had maybe 25 minutes to plan for the series. While MVP had several hours to plan for an expected EG victory.

His NP is fine, and has actually gotten a lot better. But it moves him away from being the guy that makes the 6 Million Dollar Echo Slam. He's Universe and not Bulldog. It's kind of as simple as that.

Or they could be like alliance and be good for about two months out of the last two years. Or they could get trashed like secret at TI5 as soon as they get figured out. Even if Phoenix wins this, I'd caution against this... obsession Liquid sites have with Korea.
