I at no point made any sexist comments or even about the quality of the casting(which for the record I think is fine, not great but fine). So I show an interest in these casters and somehow I am labeled as a sexist whiner. You don't see how that is annoying? yeah i get your point and in this context your question is totally legit. But for example when ODpixel got onto the casting stage everyone was like "Who is that guy I never saw him before. Anyone knows him?" or smth like this. Dont you think asking in a way of "where do (all?) these female casters come from?" has kind of a different ring to it, if you really wanted to know more about their background? Im not bashing here I just want to make it more understandable how the question got the reaction it got... Edit: Sorry for putting this in the LR thread... I stop now

That's historically gone badly at the wrong moment for EE.I believe Newbee vs EG will be on MarsTVMDLen2, unless they're waiting for the main channel(s) to open.

I understand the annoyance in questioning your motives for saying something but you have been around a long time. You could've asked why Llama was there. Instead you made a comment about an entire group. A person like yourself already knows women have been in the casting scene for years. Women in Dota hasn't been a sudden recent thing and your question is based entirely on that instead of what Llama did to deserve her high profile seat. I actually don't think she has done as much as Sheever or is as fun to listen to as Soe.

You stating they normally have to fight hard for this position, underlines that you are leaning towards this, and are very likely trying to backpedal, while still leaning towards sexism. Sorry.

I stop now My point is twofold A: You guys are WAAY to aggressive about wanting to put people away and labeling them as sexists when anyone makes any kind of comment regarding females in casting appearently. In no way did I judge the quality of the casting, made any sexist comments or any comments related to gender. Look at it this way, Smash Bros is an Esports game that has a relatively large African American population when it comes to crowd, players etc. That is something that is unique to that game(Dota, League, CS all have predominately White/Asian playerbase with a hint of Hispanic). If I come from Dota and see Smash, will you call me a racist if I am wondering why there are so many black people playing Smash? B: I too wondered where ODpixel came from, however ODpixel is male and blessed with a godtier voice/accent. That is not something that is unheard of in this day and age. So I am less suprised at ODpixel being allowed to cast all of these games than I am of females. Given that females suffer much harder challenges then ODpixel, don't you think that its different?

Newbee was looking at playing 4 matches in a row, so they might be giving them an extended break to eat. Not that we have any information. Just thinking. ![]()

OD didn't really make it big until the C9 v Scaryfacezzz game. A good voice and one of the longest games of Dota ever played will do that. Prior to that he was casting pubs with Wakeypixel.
