For anybody unaware of the situation, Alliance are currently scheduled to play in the first set of games but their original flight got cancelled and it's likely that they will be late to arrive. What Starladder will do about that is unknown.

The only possible flight might have been only on the next day, so it did not allow the team to come in time. It is a pity that the organizers have not managed to agree upon a new schedule with the rest of the teams, so Alliance have to leave our tournament. LMFAO Alliance are already replaced even though v1lat said they would reschedule. Now Alliance are sitting on a airplane to fucking nowhere for no reason.
Would love to know which team is retarded enough to not want to reschedule.

That is some shit. V1lat tweets that they'll do eveything to reschedule the games, Alliance board a plane to Vienna and in just a few moments there's a decision to invite PR instead of Alliance. Seems sketchy as fuck tbh. Obviously we don't have all the details but something is not right here.

V1lat is starladder's spokesperson, right? I mean, official capacity to make announcements but he's not the one in charge of or with authority to reschedule games.

I know it's not v1lat but whoever it is is doing a poor job at it.

And to the poster above. Doesn't matter who booked the flights Alliance was supposed to arrive at the same time as most teams today but due to the snow storms some flights were cancelled and Alliance were the unlucky ones this time.

As far as I recall v1lat has said he doesn't even work for SLTV, he is just a hired commentator.

From a tournament perspective it is understandable that they want to have a full tournament and not have Alliance join in after their first 3 games have been forfeited or something. But I'm not sure why rescheduling is not possible. For example they could swap the groups around so group B plays in the mornings. It may be a bit annoying for teams to change but it's not like they are going to leave the event. There also seems to be some conflicting info. EG manager says he doesn't think teams had any issues switching the schedule around to accommodate Alliance, SL apparently says they couldn't agree on a schedule.

But I'm not even sure what Alliance's situation really is. What time is their flight coming and is that in significant danger of being cancelled? The tournament can't just wait around forever. But if they come in before 12 local time and there is no real reason to assume the flight will have issues then it feels rather strange.
