Fighting games also run in bo3 bo3 and sc2 uses bo7 (and is still used often to point at why winner's advantages are bad). I don't see how either of those examples are good. The tournament isn't fair from the very start. So that makes no sense. If fairness was the goal then you'd just do a massive group stage and end it there so at least everyone ends up playing everyone else. | ||
