also the strength of egg is getting damage in on an enemy team that is making the decision to kill egg or GTFO. songing egg gets rid of egg damage and eliminates the window where your team is taking advantage of the killing of egg or the getting the fuck out

That combo in 6.83 would be auto-win since winter's curse did not apply 70% damage reduction to secondary targets.

Egg Winter curse is amazing, Egg Overgrowth is amazing. Egg Song is like every other song combo. Good on paper and underwhelming in game.

In the main event it's mostly happened when teams drafted bad lineups on a timer (this game, secret vs ehome game 1). The successful teams so far have drafted balanced lineups that don't need to end as long as they're constricting the other team and farming the map.
With the heroes that are popular right now, going hg is just legitimately hard. You don't want to be forced to do it, you want to do it when you're ready.

I am fairly certain C9 once picked Egg+Black hole. Even with n0tail giving a total of 1 black hole whole game that was almost pgg black hole and them playing against silencer, it was pretty legit.
