That's a new one... PPD + zai was one of the best. Aui is a step down, but yea, one of the best is probably a stretch. Man last year's EG was sickeningly good. Universe this year kinda lost that shine, but Sumail is there is pick it up, if he doesn't go Sufail.
I think the team as a whole is better than TI4 EG just because Fear is like 20x better than mason. the team has a bit of a different focus than it used to strategically and aui plays something of a different role than zai. The team usually relies on Universe and Sumail for the plays while aui does a bit more of the traditional support stuff than zai did

Didn't TI2 had a Col in the upper bracket as well? They did really well in the groupstages and then flopped over into the abyss.
I hope the curse doesn't carry over or smthing.

And Sumail is honestly not that impressive on non-ricing heroes (his puck against VP was pretty good admittedly).

A team full of talent/legends (outside of Mason lol) i mean rtz said that he thinks old eg and new secret are on the same level and ppd said that old eg is has higher skillcap(greater potential) than the new eg ..
I agree, honestly if Fear didn't get hurt they would have possibly been the most talented team in the world.

I dont even know their names here's my commment: I don't think there's a lot of NA players who steal money from teammates and kick them off of teams the day before travelling to the biggest event in the history of that game in favor of their little brothers. Thats pretty shitty.. who did that? that's PPD's biased perspective on an issue that has been discussed ad infinitum in the hon scene. It wasn't actually the case what's the case then? Here I will quote Slickz himself: "Khezu and I left the team due to several factors: 1. As for the tax situation, Kyle failed to mention that the only issue of tax that was questioned with was why he wanted to withhold 30% US tax from a prize pool that was won in Thailand. 900,000 Thai Baht prize money was won in Thailand NOT the US. Even then, we do not work in the US, you said it yourself, we are in the US as visitors. As an Australian citizen I am responsible to declare all my tax return in Australia. It did not make ANY sense whatsoever to pay taxes TWICE. When we tried to explain this to him, his view on the tax situation did not change. We decided to approach our parents for advice which turned into a heated argument. ... 3. I did not once say or accuse ANYONE of stealing, neither did KheZu. Kyle was merely just withholding money, attempting to withhold taxes and taking an extremely long time to pay us. Even though eventually paid us out in the end, he was always extremely hostile when we simply asked why it was taking so long." and you leave out: "After failing to take 30% of the winnings for himself, he proceeded to pay us the right amounts which was good. But the fact that he tried to, and failed, is in itself fraud and really shady." come on now Again that is directly refuting your original statement. I don't like Col lol. I'm rooting for EG here, but I just find it hilarious that people are still grinding an Axe that ended years ago
ok so i said he stole money. forgive me. he really TRIED to. and if his teammates weren't diligent it appears like he fully intended to.
there is also this:
"9. In relation to Kyle’s statement, it clearly had half truths and major factors which you failed to mention to make KheZu and I look bad."
fuck swindlemelonz and zfreek and fuck complexity.

Put 5$ on Col, they have great odds and i don't think they're as big underdogs as everyone thinks they are. They did show some impressive stuff in group stage.

Nah. His surname is Tan, which is a very common Singaporean or Malaysian surname.
