I wonder if they realized during their bootcamp that they needed to change shit up because of how badly the other teams would study their play, I'm guessing that they probably considered it and decided to stuck with what they were doing just because of their dominance, welp.

Rip Artour, is the dream over?!

Look their LoL team has broken their 0-15 BO3 loss streak and their SC2 team has the new coach. The year of prime is coming. That SC2 coach made 4 champions. i mean like it's not like prime didn't make good players in the past lol One of the best players in the world at the moment was a Prime player. Really came into his own under Jin Air, though.

I think Gerrard is a different kind of coach. He lets this players grow without direction, but because of that most of them (except Maru) keep making the same mistakes year after year after year.

Hope our American boys don't do the same. Fuck Secret though, why did play so bad today? They are not very good compared to Ehome as the games obviously showed Come on you are a big boy you can analyze this much at least Let's forget 3 months of dota following a bo3. Secret may still not have fully improved their ability to overcome losses. It's a team chemistry thing. They have respect for each other but when adversity strikes the cracks in their team chemistry affects their performance. They are like a bunch of skilled friends that are chill with each other but not the best of friends. This is similar to DK with key differences such as Secret are probably closer as friends but DK lived together for a year so the bond is different. The other route is to go the EG route which is straight professional and have a strong structural hierachy. I think EG is the strongest team when it comes to bouncing back from defeat. Honestly, the game 2 really just scream out draft. The Axe pick didn't really do much for them, especially how hard he was shut down in his lane.
I think it's hard to completely trust each other when the relationship is based mainly on respect.
Like watch the teams Xiao8 leads, if he tells them to go in one by one they will. They can bitch at him all they want after but in the game his command is final. I am sure that PPD has a similar role in EG. This should apply similarly to the draft. They have final say and that's all.
Secret's draft second game may have been a clash of ideas.

I don't think this is possible. Secret really needs to change something up though. There is no chance for a deep run if they just continue like nothing happened and they did not just got demolished by EHOME
You don't need to change your drafter to change things up. They just have to look at what went wrong and adapt (like what PPD does when EG bombs early).
I like making fun of secret as much as the next person but I don't like seeing people act so doomed over this loss. This is the first time they've lost a major bo3 since like dotapit I think (if you can even call that a major).
Changing drafters now would just signal to every other team that there's blood in the water and a lack of trust in secret.

MVP's got a comfort draft I think they have a good shot at this game.

Ehome and CDEC have both shown that there is good talent out there in China. It certainly says a lot that Newbee and IG are doing as poorly as they are while these two teams that are both full of relative unknowns are into the WB semis. Newbee actually has just as much new talent as LGD though, they just had a bad practice environment for ages, lol. a very loose term of practice rpg practice best practice
