well the superior time rating is their ace in the hole right. Unless they get absolutely shitstomped by CDEC, even if they lose, they'll likely win on time

Is there a better solution than time rating here?
|
Time to see some crazy push strat.
|
WHY DID TONGFU GG EARLY?
Do they not understand how time rating works? Why did they put their countrymen (CDEC) at a disadvantage?
|
That struggle with mental math.

Math is hard.
TF = 34-38 = -4 CDEC = 38-X Rave = X-34
For CDEC to win the tiebreakers, they have to win faster than 72/2=36.

Rave won with 34.
For CDEC to win they have to win faster than ~36.

For CDEC to win the tiebreakers, they have to win faster than 38. I thought 34? Don't think head to head mattered at this point.
Edit; Nvm, I had no idea how this time rating work

Math IS hard.
Corrected. Yes, H2H doesn't matter, only lowest does, but in this case I simply wrote the wrong win time for Rave.

I wont forget how Alliance managed to win <30 mins to win tie breakers last year or 2. that was pretty clutch

Tiebreakers decided by game time?
Isn't that kinda lame?

Isn't that kinda lame? Not when they're already in the second round of tie breakers.
And that's only if CDEC wins and forces another 3-way tie.

Maybe they could go by fantasy points. Fantasy points / min,

Could we see Lesh for a pushing strat, bringing the unique heroes count up?

You say that as if they owe anything to their countrymen. I can see struggling when you still have a chance at making it (like the first game actually ending with the throne falling), but there was no way the throne was going to be up for more than 1 more minute, so they were 100% out at that point.

Just to make it clear, the game time was actually 34:40, not 34 flat. Not likely to be an important difference, though.
