Maybe but none of the players on Secret are new to the high dollar tournaments. The entire team has been at least 3rd place in the TI tournaments.
I don't think it's so much that Secret is winning but by how MUCH they are winning by. They are completely crushing everyone they've played against with total ease. I don't see that sort of flow going away simply because its time for bracket play. They are reminding me of Alliance when they didn't lose a single game on their way to winning G-League. It's quite a sight.

i feel that the big gods will save China this time

Secret always look super solid then suddenly drops out of the tournament in a nailbiting BO3/BO5 though.
But this is a new and improved Secret. Maybe they will buck that trend.

It's quite a sight. i dunno, their last two rolls were with sf/qop/chen/rubick... once teams start targeting more bans, it's hard to tell how deep their playbook goes. not saying they don't look strong, but they certainly haven't shown too much draft diversity yet

Big Gods casually living a semi-retired life, proceeds to win a million. All according to director8 script. One can dream.

Yea I generally agree with what all you guys are saying but I think targeted bans will probably just give them something else stupid strong to play with. Of everything though I'm surprised with how well Zai is doing in the offlane.
I also like the way EG is playing too. Looking forward to the two of them playing against one another.

If Big Gods win DAC, we need to check if Xiao8 is feeding his teamates performance enhancing drugs man.

They don't need to show greater draft diversity because RTZ is literally just crushing people from mid with SF and Lycan. The only game where they had a bit of trouble was when RTZ didn't win mid vs. HR and they had to fall back to Zai to make comeback fights.
It is very obvious to me that Secret doesn't just have Chen + Lycan/SF strats, but that they haven't had to use the other strats because no one's even challenging them with this one. Whenever RTZ is not shut down he simply carries. No other mid has been able to stop it up to now except for HR.

How hard would it be to make the streaming schedule graphic match up time wise? Just bottom align, this is gradeschool stuff.

The point is i didnt forget ti, where some newbs went to win every freaking game in the playoffs after a distasterous group stage. Groupstages are not that big of a deal to survive for most teams, its all about the playoffs. Its important is that you dont give away alot of info during the groupstages, the chinese teams certainly arent doing that.

If xiao8 direct big gods to victory here, then with out a doubt he is the greatest villain ever in dota

Rtz wasn't mid in that game. But yea no need to change what is working already. If sf lycan gets banned, I assume they would go for wisp strats.

DENDI's ES? Didn't expect it.

Silly Navi thinking they can do another SF vs ES matchup. It's no ordinary SF this time.
