What happened was a little more involved than that, funn1k got poached and at first they had decent but not great results with vigoss. However, their results were trending downwards towards mediocrity, silent and goblak left later and were replaced by twista and mitch, and, well, yeah.

HR has a pretty aktiv/snowbally lineup, if dendi is right, empire should win

Alright empire's draft is 99999x better than HR's imo
HR have like a mild -armor subtheme but thats shit vs the AC + Vlads that Empires heroes are guaranteed to get already plus ogre's high armor etc.
Howl + troll ult make every empire hero a right click threat, I'm quite certain that Empire's mega-late game is stronger etc.
HR's only chance is snowballing real hard imo, but thats hard vs ogre who's so unreasonable at low levels.

And -armor from goo. They also seem a good line-up to get an early-ish AC to further contribute -armor.
