I think Sing's itemization is fine but I'm not a huge ember player and this is just my opinion. Tide was having a rough start so the blink aided with early game initiation as neither AA or Ogre are great at that. Blink is also decent against the chrono and ancient seal if he's quick enough to use it before damage. Mid game is going to be more passive for Sing as they are playing around the medusa who is mostly going to be static farming. It might seem like hes not "making plays" right now but look at the game. It's super slow paced, wait til lategame to judge the player's play.
