Valve has done such a great job with this tournament.

I am still baffled by how SUPER FAST they prepare for each game. No 30 min downtime. There is always something to watch: interviews + super awesome "analytical" desc.
Best e-sport even i have ever seen.

I've watched all of the coverage the past two days and I still am in awe of how good this tournament has been. That's besides the games too. The production of the whole thing is just incredible. The analyst desk is the greatest invention in eSports imo. It's even better than the Dreamhack SC2 caster couch.

LD and Luminous are so much better commentators than tobi/synderen, especially since they actually catch most if not all action.

what people never realized throughout most of last year was how analysis-driven ld/lumi are, while tobi is much more for play-by-play and color.

however, caster bashing is pretty futile, and with this many different avenues to spectating, choose who you enjoy listening to

Guess I'm alone when saying that I think LD is actually a better play-by-play than tobi, amazing voice, vocabulary and excitement.

Luminous isn't a great play by play guy, he tries to be more analytical. And synderen/puppey outclass any commentator for analysis.

The peripherals in huge ziplock bags and 3 valve staff per booth setting up stuff FOR the teams, instead of the players dicking around and taking 40 minutes to set their own stuff up, is GENIUS.

Analyst panel is probally the best idea in the history of ESPORTS. At least if you invite statsman Bruno and 2GD.

This is exactly the reason (or well, one of many) that this tourney is so amazing. Their are no re-run of the same commercial a thousand times or just stagnant down-time. It's truly a pleasure to watch.
