I am rather bothered that loda never seems to be part of the group.

America! I don't understand why people are so offended by people enjoying themselves, so many people were whining in the IEM LR Thread about Jarett trying to get the crowd pumped up and cheering. It doesnt change anything. Chanting "COL COL COL" would sound logical. Chanting "USA" just sounds retarded. People dont shout "DEUTSCHLAND DEUTSCHLAND" in IEM Cologne when a german player is winning iunno, USA USA rolls off the tongue a bit better, besides i heard tons of aussie aussie oi oi oi at the wsop main event a couple years back and that was pretty cool.

that staff guy in the zenith booth looks like hes about to pop off...relax man, its just a bunch of gamers

zenith has 2 players that can't help themselves but dive and play flashy, 2 that like to play very passively, and 1 in the middle, how is that ever gonna work out.

Price pool is completely insane, they could have done half and still got amazing attention. I don't see Dota 2 being such a great cash cow when you get all heroes for free.

Not really.
American's having doing this for decades now at sporting events.
The Sc2 community just started using it as a parody, tongue in cheek after the Gomtv world vs Korea team matchs, after artosis referred the world team as "team america" despite having zero US players on it. Hence why players like Stephano and Naniwa get a lot of "USA, USA, USA" or "America, Fuck yeah" chants these days.

Hey people...post screenshots of your desktop or viewing setup if you got multiple streams open!

I'm happy for coL, but I disliked all of the "USA" chanting. 40% of the players are Canadian; to put this into perspective, Canada is 10% the population of the States and I think it's silly to call them an American team and not a North American team.

that room looks pretty empty
admittedly it is friday but still do dota events usually fill up?

It's a joke when you cheer "USA" for a player that isn't American, but using it to actually cheer for something American has been around for, well, I don't know how long, but well before SC2. yeah, but coL is an EU team =) I hope you're joking. They've always been a North American team, picking up NA teams and players for years. They were in the CGS as LA Complexity for god's sake, they're not a European team. yeah yeah, and Stephano is french- got it
How is that at all relevant?
The only team that Complexity has that doesn't have NA players is their HoN team. Every single other player they have is from USA or Canada. Don't bring the SC2 bullshit drama in here, we don't need it.
EDIT: And Heart/Killer/Ganzi.

It isn't a joke. It's a patriotic chant. They're not cheering for a French SC2 player, they're cheering for an American team. Granted, people posting here may be doing it because of the SC2 joke, but maybe they're just happy to see an American team playing so well on home soil, so I suggest we all relax.
