How unlucky can you get. Pretty much this. He just couldn't phase shift through the DC and died. Without Puck nothing to stop AL from bullrushing. The T3 had just gone down too and TL could have moved into the base. A shame. Why wasn't there a pause from TL? I think Korok disconnected just after he died, but he must've been lagging hard before that... maybe his internet died and they didnt realize until he died for no reason or until the disconnect message showed up

Ingame players often realize a DC, when its already too late. They might see him and wait for him to orb out, but then he dies and you cant always pause for things like this ..

TL has to win vs. Na'Vi and AL has to win vs. KP for there to be a three way tie and a shot for TL.
TL losing to Na'Vi -> TL out 0-3
KP winning AL -> Na'Vi losing to TL -> KP and AL advances, Na'Vi and TL out

DC or not, he would of died, he was positioned way too far inside and the stuns had already landed.

A tie is solved by timerating. I dont know who is ahead there.

Which doesn't look impossible at all, considering how well AL is playing. Na'vi vs. Liquid, I hope it is a good game at least.
The cross server play is really getting annoying though, and honestly I would love there to be able to be a BO3 situation when cross server play is concerned so that you feel they are even results.

Chances of TL beating Na`Vi is around 10% i'd say.

I think there are better odds of Kaipi beating aL than of TL beating Navi.

Like that has even worked "Kappa". We've been having 1-1 games go to tiebreaker, then the EU or US team win the final game based where the game is played.

Let's not get into server talk, alright? There's nothing to discuss, it was going to be Europe server all the way from the beginning, all teams entered the competition knowing that.

Imho, Fluff got outhinked at the drafting stage. The way it looked, like he wanted AM for himself as a surprise 5th pick, but forgot, that he's aL's go-to carry.

Regardless, I just mean that lag issues remaining is frustrating my enjoyment of the game no matter what is causing it. Because of this, I prefer a Bo3 format to allow the best team to come through instead of losing to one off bad luck or a fluke. Not saying that either Kaipi or AL winning was a fluke, I saw some great play from both, but just that I prefer longer series.

Well the problem for NAdota in general is that they are simply subject to European tournaments because the scene in EU is much stronger then in NA. So far I don't see many signs of NA getting LAN tournaments so I am a bit afraid for that.

Time is such an idiotic way to decide tie-breakers. It basically says one type of strategy is better than the other.
