1. only best of 3 for the final and 2. why more matches then the final between navi and alliance?
Its only the Winner Bracket Final....the winner moves on to the Grand Final (Bo5) while the loser goes down to the loser bracket.

The Grand Final is Bo5. Lower Bracket Final (Bo3) and Grand Final are tomorrow on the last day.
Hope that was the question ^^

For the crowd only. I bet after the games, but dunno.

So should Alliance give a respect ban to Pudge or Chen? I feel like they're good enough to just beat it, but I'm also stupid.

I think [A] can just take the Chen if they have first pick (Akke can also play an amazing Chen). Not sure if Na'Vi can run a Pudge lineup without Chen (Not saying they're relying on the fountain hooks, but Chen provides an early aggressive line up Na'Vi likes to run)

Alliance has a great Chen player, they might try to snap it up themselves. No point using a ban when you can pick it up without being disadvantaged.

Akkes Chen is almost as good as Puppeys Chen. They should just pick or ban Chen and there wont be a Pudge if they do that.

Both teams play mean enchantresses as well, which can somewhat hinder chen at times.
It also depends on who S4's mid is. Pudge doesn't ever really win mid, but there' some mids he would really rather not see.

We'll get to see hyhy's farewell...
Oh an Dendi's sister of course, isn't Dendi's family at the event?

They mightban chen because Puppey is one of the best chen's in the world and its a common respect ban against navi (they might pick it too as akke may know a thing or two about the hero).
They won't ban pudge, Alliance is not your typical chinese team who just let pudge have his way and stroll all around the map trying to find picks without punishing it.

Just hoping for good Doto from now on, now that Fnatic and Liquid is out :

How is first pìcking team decided? Coin-flip? Sorry for the noob questions
|
I don't think Na'Vi would go ahead and pick Pudge against western team based on their last years trends. Iirc they picked him mostly against chinese teams and Complexity (?). And albeit viable, it's a pocket strategy for them. I'm sorry if I am mistaken.

From the official dota2.com website:
"[Winner's bracket: ] Other Rounds: Selection Priority is determined by total games W-L record of the Main Event. If it is tied, a coin toss determines it."
For lower bracket:
"Same choosing order rules as Upper Bracket, except when a Lower Bracket team faces a team that is or was previously in the Upper Bracket, the Upper Bracket team has initial Selection Priority."

So if i want to watch Alliance vs Na'vi live i shouldn't sleep tonight? Why don't you make it the first game and make it possible to follow by Europeans?

Cause it makes more sense to have the teams in the winner bracket to have a slight idea of who's waiting for them if they drop to losers?

I think it's more because of the fact that they already played game 1 of the Bo3s for the lower bracket last night, so they would want to finish it off before moving on.

edit: if you cant say something nice don't say anything at all

It's been in the game for years. If IceFrog wanted it gone, he would've removed it years ago.
