TongFu forced them into that position, it was a desperation tactic, and if you think that navi is considering going pudge+chen in the hopes of pulling another fountain hook win against Alliance, which is arguably the best team in the world right now, you are new or silly..

Chen is an awesome hero, and dendi makes pudge work in the pro scene, even without the fountain hooks. WITH the fountain hooks it becomes a pretty scary combo, as a late game fountain hook on a key target can turn a losing game into a win. That's possibly enough to warrant a ban, albeit it's unreliable and nothing anyone should plan their game after on.
