Weaver is a shit tier hero in 6.79. He needs too much farm, and is not able to farm as quickly as a medusa/am and he crumbles to a early/mid-game lineup becaue he can't fight until he has 2/3 items. He has something like a 30% winrate in 6.79 in pro games (I don't know exact number of the top of my head, but its something quite low) Also axe was overall nerfed in 6.79 (icefrog why ?!?!) Battle hunger is weaker, culling blade is harder to hit, aghs is necessary...... I just don't understand what they are trying to accomplish with these drafts. Liquid's team played well, but their draft was overall just stronger as well. On the other hand, NP is the most boring hero to watch, but whatever. | ||

I never said he wasn't a mid game hero, but he needs a huge amount of farm and can't flash farm LIKE Am/Medusa who are both farm dependent heros who farm quite quickly. Also, the reduction in the health kill threshold makes it harder to hit. You saw trixi miss his culling blade twice in that game because of that. (hero got away both times) | ||

But this utility build that qojqva uses is refreshing to watch iMO. Also the Gyro was an extremely good pick. I found out a good while ago that Gyro really destroys (creepskipping) axe, because it's one of the only heroes that actually does more damage at melee range than the axe that gets a few spins off. | ||

And there's the 35 minutes Phase/Drums/Manta Mirana that simply doesn't do any damage and misses all arrows. | ||

I guess this NP is better, and I do think qojva is infinitely better at NP than bulldog (simply because bulldog is just one-dimensional with all of his heroes, of which there are three) Qojva is crazy good at all his heroes. I still hate NP. Well liquid drafted a solid line-up, and pretty much any strong draft can shut down an axe, especially when Fnatic's draft made their lanes so obvious. And this game, Liquid's draft is again a lot better. Fnatic needs to just play super well to be able to pull this out. | ||
