Topright of the shop menu, there is a way to alternate tabs to all pictures. Once you memorize all of the icons, this is the most convenient way of shopping. No way of keybinding items afaik, but you can drag them to the small quickbuy menu above your gold bottomright on the ui.

Not the best - arcanes are generally better, since wisp has a few mana problems and double arcanes too stronk, while tranquils can't be used mid fight and you will generally have enough heal outside of combat (you go both urn and mek).

How does multiplayer work in this game? I've only been able to find normal. Or is everything ranked and there is no casual mode? Closest thing I could find is the difference between captains mode and the other modes. Anyone care to sum it up for a new guy? Thanks!
Side note: IPads are annoying as hell to type on...........

There are custom games, but there isn't a separate ranked/normal mode like LoL has. Playing all pick rather than captains mode or draft is more a matter of preference. Playing captains mode without a stack can be incredibly annoying for instance. I'd guess most people play all pick. The "casual mode" aka easy mode hasn't been implemented yet if you're talking about HoN.

Also when I asked if people want to duo they all said "?" so im just going to guess you can have a full party in all game modes?

You can have any number of players in any game mode (maximum of five obviously).

You can shop using the same hotkeys as hero spells after enabling it in the gameplay options. For example, for me Q switches to the first tab which is consumables, and then 1 will buy clarity, 2 tango, 3 salve, and so forth. W will switch to the attributes tab, E switches to armaments, etc.. Of course, it requires you to memorize where items are like grid layout, but it's still faster than clicking once you learn where they are. In addition, shift+leftclicking an item will add it to quickbuy, which is much quicker than dragging it down and you can use the quickbuy hotkey from there to instantly purchase once you can afford it.

is it working as intended that we're able to see Nyx cast animation his ultimate through fog of war in dota2? :o

New player here. Playing support and facing pudge players. How should I avoid getting ganked?
Probably shouldnt be worrying about it as I just started playing but better to start learning and figuring stuff now :D

stay with your team as much as possible get wards up so you can get an idea as to where pudge might be when going into places without sight ie high ground via ramps reveal sight first if possible (wave of terror, nova etc)

Is he visible on the opposite side of the map? Good, you can venture out and do your own thing. Is he missing? Oh god, run away.
Oh and counter their wards with sentries.

I think "duo" isn't in the vocabulary of most dota 2 players (I'm guessing you're from LoL?). Just ask if anyone wants to party up for MM, and you can play with any number form 1-5.

Yup, from LoL (dont think I should be saying this ingame though ) Alright, thanks (yet again) guys.

Probably shouldnt be worrying about it as I just started playing but better to start learning and figuring stuff now :D I think the best way, is to look at your mini map more. Its kinda tough to get in the habit, but i think constantly checking the mini map to see how many heroes are visible is a great way to stay alive. If you see heroes missing (especially mid) just back up to your tower. You can't always rely on your teammates to call mia's.
