Also if I don't have a lot of hp or hp regen I'll probably try to kill the camp faster which means not letting it spawn skelebuddies.

Early game 16 gold is more important than late game where your time is more important. Also depends on what hero you are, if you're SF then you can farm low HP big creep and skeletons in one raze so it doesn't really lose you time or HP to get them. Smoothly killing the trolls with skeletons before you have right-click damage takes triple raze (2 to kill the small ones, the last one to finish off the big troll + skeletons). If you want to do it with 2 you have to auto down a small creep after 1 raze, then auto down the big troll after the second raze. Without skeletons, you can just raze once, auto down the big troll to where he'll die from one raze, then finish the camp all at once with one raze. #junglefarmingscience

Like I said, depends on the hero and the situation. If your lane is not being farmed then you want to take a camp as fast as possible and get back to lane; if you're SF you don't really have any problems with doing this, if you're slark you might.

Edit: Yeah ok, after looking around a bit, I probably fucked up my early game micro, got killed and then got snowballed on.

They die so fast early even with aggro switching I was afraid of losing them (unless i'm not supposed to start with the hard camp?) Here's me jungling, not perfectly executed but whatever, don't fall very low on hp. Radiant side: + Show Spoiler + Dire side: + Show Spoiler + Dire goes very fast, can hit lvl 6 at 4.20 pretty consistantly. Obviously going to be slower with a bounty annoying you but your creeps hits really hard so he shouldn't be able to kill you. But he will get xp and some occassional CS. If you buy dusts you can get help from your other support and kill him. Kill him twice with 2 dusts usually make him afraid of going back too.

You don't have to do anything fancy to head for his big timings, them being levels 5 6 and 7, and mek/arcanes/greaves. You don't -need- to gank, you just need to push lanes once you hit 5 before heroes with good waveclears get a chance to get levels to stop your push. I find games as Chen are very formulaic, and you can hit timings exactly much moreso than you can with laning heroes. Once you get the basic list of decisions down, it's hard to make outright wrong decisions as Chen. Enchantress is also good, but more reliant on early momentum imo. If you gank with your creeps early and fail, it's far more impactful than if you fail a gank as Chen, as the timers on your creeps put you more at risk of taking exp from your own jungle, and you won't have the mana or cooldowns to sustain enchant spam early. That said, it's very easy to put pressure on early, and your lategame isn't limited to just blowing your cooldowns and having the right creeps as it is with Chen.
