I guess there was that one bizarre throw against Secret in the winner finals.

I'm so amazed by Liquid right now, and I'm going to go on a small rant about KuroKy (I just need to get it out). To those of you who don't know, you recently twitted out "Thank you everyone. I failed." and I'm pretty shocked by it. KuroKy has definitely been my favorite professional since I started watching pro Dota (I watched it before I even downloaded the game), and I could not be prouder of his (and the rest of Liquid's) accomplishments this tournament alone. Most people didn't even see them top 6 before the tournament began, but through Kuro's leading, they managed to push through and give fantastic games, win in their group stage and maintain in the Winner's Bracket for nearly the entire tournament. It was his decision making that let them 2-0 EG, what is considered to be the best team in the world by many, and they still knocked a game off of Secret before they lost. Even in some of the losses, we saw that Kuro was willing to experiment and test around, which is an important skill for being a world class captain. They have come so far, defying expectations and astonishing many. I am proud to be a Liquid fan. Everyone on Liquid played their best, and should hold their heads high. I also have that "win everything or fail" mentality, but I really don't think Kuro should have it when he lead his team to do so much. In a post he made (albeit a few years ago), he showed that he isn't confident with his abilities as a captain and a leader, but look were he has led his team! I know I'm sounding like a broken record at this point, but I have pride and happiness coming from the bottom of my heart for KuroKy and the rest of Team Liquid. Thank you for the great games. https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/498ras/team_liquid_appreciation_thread/d0q3jf5

I actually wrote this longer, but I ended up being two and a half pages long so I rewrote it to be shorter. Seriously, I'm still so proud of KuroKy and the rest of Liquid.

It's pretty sad we don't have someone like Bulba who used to hang around here quite a bit. I feel like this is a small enough community where they wouldn't have to deal with all the usual Reddit/Twitter bullshit.
