They did ok. Both the bo's 2 were tied up with Newbee and VP. Typical day 1 EG honestly. First game against Newbee was just a complete stomp and outdraft from Newbee, but they came back strong in game 2. Against VP, Sumail came back with TA after having a horrible laning stage against Illidans Silencer. Game 2 was a long game of VP doing lycan, and broodmother push strat, and EG having a bad early game of Lina Sumail and Fear's Ember. They end up going the distance, but eventually lost game 2 against VP. Once again, EG can never win a game with Ember Spirit lol.

Thanks for the writeup! Yeah, typical day 1 EG I guess.. gonna be interesting to see them against VG in theier first game today. I hope and believe they will crush ;-)

Agreed. I wonder if more teams will start doing offlane enchantress. She's surprisingly really hard to take down so you can punish over commitments hard with her.
Awesome game 2 by EG. I see EG going deep in this tournament, but I'm still nervous for them in the main stages. EG has what it takes to go deep, but something seems really unstable about them at the moment. Even with their games they won, their were some moments of weakness with this team. If they clash heads with Secret again, I'm kinda worried they won't pull through. I hope I'm wrong and Sumail plays the best damn dota ever!
There are moments where PPD completely outdrafts his opponents and there are moments where he drafts shit like that invis strat against Newbee. I think he's best when he's making small tweaks with 1-2 heroes.
In other news, my TI badges and EG shirts just came in the mail, getting hyped. Now all I need is some iron-on PPD letters.

pretty tame, the drama between swindle was teenage stuff, there's nothing there anymore and they practice together. they prepare by doing mock drafts of him + fear vs bulba imitating teams. still weird that people hate ppd
I kinda feel bad for their fans so I'll keep my talk about them here: it feels really fitting to see rtz and zai so upset about being knocked out early and seeing EG in the upper brackets still. Rtz being a salty bitch and making it a point to announce it during the all-star game--when a lot of other players were there and knocked out too--just confirms that he's still an asshat with a super huge ego. I mean I thought the shades were enough but jesus...
S4 is such a nice guy too, it's so sad to see him get all the blame for secret's failures... I mean it's not like puppey and koroky were mute during the entire drafting process and we all know the other two couldn't draft if their lives depended on it.

hmm, what did Arteezy say during the Allstar game? I must have missed that part.
^ I only caught the beginning but when the host asked him how he was doing he kinda sarcastically remarked that he just got eliminated but doing fine.
It wasn't really that big a deal, but collectively with that, their unwillingness to scrim because of their wins, the shades, just everything, it leaves a really sour taste for me.
And I'm still pissed about the fashion they left EG in lol, so I am not an unbiased source haha.
