oh ok I heard that part. I think it's not too bad but I do agree their attitudes overall can leave a bad taste

I mean how do else is he supposed to respond to that? "Oh I'm really sad we lost, I don't actually want to be playing this allstar game".

Like your gripes about the shades and scrimming are legitimate but you're digging for this one.

Just smile and say "I'm doing alright"? He even alludes to drama on his Twitter like a little brat.

You couldn't tell puppey was eliminated when the camera got to him. I wish he would have either been like that or joked about the loss. I agree though, it isn't that bad, just slightly annoying for me.

You're the golden boy of dota, your team was the heavy favorite to win the tournament, you just got eliminated 2 hours before, you're an outspoken personality, and pros notoriously hate playing all star games. I'm pretty sure that's as tame as it gets there. I can assure you he wanted to get completely shitfaced after losing and I'm actually shocked he stayed sober to that point honestly.

He's just a boy trying to play some doto 2. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, he's young, and this is what the community expects of him. There's really nothing there to talk about unless you're insatiably desperate for drama.

Only part which comes off as arrogant is the sunglasses entrance during the EHOME match and not scrimming alot.
You are totally misreading him since thats how he talks/speech patterns these days, very sarcastic tone. You should know this if you actually watch his stream. Only his early stream days and early dota2 days he had arrogant brat attitude.
Im surprised you didn't call out everyone all chatting in the all star game, iceiceice shenanigans and etc. (You probably did in another thread)
I'm no fangay or whatever but I hate when people just have stupid and baseless accusations

He's arrogant and imo it was in poor taste but I watch his stream all the time, nothing new.

Listen , i know you looking to flame him , but you are way REACHING , he was JUST eliminated the emotions are clearly high , the question was DUMB and redundant and if you follow real sport you know everyone prefer the guy who cares then the guy who just shrugs off anything that happens.
give him a day or 2 to chill out and he will be fine , i hated the way him and Zai left to im happy secret got rekt , but man you are reaching

Can we forget about rtz and just enjoy the fact that we have an even younger player on our EG squad for whom the excuse "he's young" never has to be used in regards to his personal and professional conduct?

GO EG!!!!!

EG lower bracket, standard tournament. PPD praised Q in group stage interviews saying he's very good, and now said he's a genius after getting outdrafted.

Where have you heard pros hate playing all stars games? Do you know why they do?

Makes me really sad to hear that, considering how heavily the fans/community support TI (and the reason for such a ridiculously high prize pool) as well as through their streams via donation etc, you'd think it wouldn't kill them to want to take participate in a bit of fan service.

I could see how it could be pretty raw coming into it straight from a loss though.

I assume they may have got paid a bit extra + under some obligation from valve to do it. Plus refusing to do it probably wouldn't be good for your image.

All well still makes me sad they think of it as some huge chore.

They do it because they feel obligated. But there's a reason they stopped doing the dual player thing at the summit and things of that nature. The pros hate doing it, they do it to keep the fans and sponsors happy. Even as a fan I know most likely its going to be awful. The last few have had to throw in gimmicks. Whether its modes like RDDM to freshen it up, the techies reveal last year, or the 10v10 this year. I mean pro football players hate playing in the football all star game. No one tries in most sports, there's nothing on the line, no reason to play and there's a chance you get injured playing a silly exhibition game that doesn't matter. So that mindset isn't just a dota thing.

Plus during a tournament you either have it before the event starts, no teams have been eliminated yet so the players would rather be practicing for the actual games. Or you have it later in the event after some teams have been eliminated and you get a situation like happened where a guy that just got bounced now has to go back out and play a silly game. Its lose/lose.

Puppey lost two TI finals, he being composed as opposed to RTZ being upset should not be anything strange.

Here is my 2 cents for the drafts today, let shadow fiend and gyrocopter through. both of them have bad win rates last I checked. Or at least let gyrocopter through. The true problems seem to be lina and bounty hunter. Lina makes it so your cores are way too squishy even if they get bkb and is so fucking versatile. Bounty makes if so if you ever fall behind, you can't trade due to track making trades always not in your favor and makes game spiral out of control. While if you are ahead, it demands perfect play or track gold can quickly get them back in the game unless you methodically farm up a ridiculous lead.

I say ban lina/bounty first phase, unless you have first pick and want one of those. This forces LGD or Cdec to decide, do we want to ban naga, leshrac, techies, and go from there and pick one of those heros.

What do you all think?

I was thinking the same thing in forcing lgd/cdec to give eg either lesh, naga, or techies. However, you have to ban gyro vs Agressif, he's way way way too good on that hero. I think banning out Agressif's hero pool is the way to go.

I think EG's biggest problem was prioritizing the Razor. In game 1, the pick was fine, but game 2 it was very out of place, and Razor isn't that strong. Other than that, I agree with the ban against BH, but the Lina isn't worth a first phase ban.

I expect to see some Clinkz games out of Fear today, I think the hero is incredibly good against CDEC, beat them with their own play style, take the fight to them.

I'm also curious as to why EG is not giving Aui greedier supports, or, letting Aui become a core Naga, especially with a Razor whose strength deteriorates later on.

EDIT: I fully expect EG to win 5 games today. I'm predicting 2-1 win against LGD, and a 3-1 win against CDEC.

Too much razor for my liking , the hero has like 2 periods in which he is OK (not even great) early game laning , and mid game pushing , he is shit in everything else.
They should not let CDEC get Gyro or PL , they run PL alot of times why not now ? they run Tusk many times , why not now ? PPD didnt get outdrafted , he outdrafted himself with that wonky out of the meta picks

It really depends on first pick or second pick. If cdec has first pick, they can intentionally make either of lesh gyro BH into the pool. They don't seem to care about naga too. Techies is only required to ban in second phase, unless PPD wants to first phase pick techies which makes no sense.

What's more important is that if you're giving away a top pick, you're able to get one or 2 yourself.

If EG wants techies seems they will have to get it first phase pick. LGD first banned techies game 1.
