I knew my boys had it in them! Couldn't be happier, especially for Fear. I don't think there's any way he retires now. There's so much money out there ripe for the taking you'd have to be out of your mind. Also glad for Sumail, made his family proud certainly and I don't think there will be 8 people living in a tiny apartment anymore :D

eg antifan here but this win reminds me of that time fear showed up to ti3 (EG had been eliminated in the qualifiers). it was kind of sad to see him there after all that had happened, and then making the most forgettable roster of EG dota2 (fear fogged mss jeyo universe)

I like "The echo slam heard round the world" as thescore coined it. Maybe alleyoop heard round the world is more fitting since ppd set up the universe dunk. However here are the reactions in the pods. Surprisingly pretty tame! Universe yells for a second but its really reserved, sumail and aui smile. Personally I'd be losing my mind for a few minutes after that shit lol.

I'm sad i was not able to see EG's match against LGD. . .

In any case, a really impressive performance by the boys in blue.

They've shown lots of poise and confidence all throughout the year leading up to this point. Hope they get a well deserved celebration and rest and be back just time to threaten the majors once again.

I didn't get to watch the CDEC vs EG uppe bracket finals, but saw the last 3 games of grand final (I'm also not an expert on dota anyway). Can somebody explain to me what happened in ~24 hours that caused EG to lose 0-2 to CDEC in upper bracket finals but then proceed to win pretty convincingly 3-1 in grand finals?
