Blessed Thunder Thighs, is what she is.

Whole slew of other changes, as well. Map changes, item changes, hero changes.

Most importantly Necronomicon is GONE. DONE AND DUSTED. Zoo heroes (probably) dumpstered. Lycan is dead and buried. Beastmaster will have to go back to vlads solar and agh's I guess.
Shared tangos now disappear if not used in 40s of being given. Finally, I don't have to pool tangos to the retarded mid. Now if only they removed bottle... I can dream.

edit: I know dominator 2 looks good, but it's a 6K gold-costing item. If you rush it, you'll have nothing up to that point. No more being bullied out of lane by minute 8 by someone with necro 1 and summons.

A healing core with a global ability, good offlane potential perhaps. Team global might be coming back?

Basically no ways to move past haste movement speed now. Makes it much nicer trying to catch a weaver or similar.

Wow, Radiant safe lane jungle is now much worse for radiant on a layout perspective. The hard camp is now not an easy and safe pull. Even hard to contest it.

Both mids have a much harder time to dodge in for a quick medium camp. Only the easy camp is nearby.

Map changes in general feels like they will make jungling less safe. I might read it wrong from the images though.

Also the potential to wrap around the towers is much larger now. Positioning in tower pushes will be more interesting. Combined with "Increase building teleportation range from 575 to 800 (affects TP scrolls and Boots of Travel)" will make tower fights bloody and hard.

Water rune seems to fix a large part of the mid rune luck. Also prompting rotations to secure them from the supports. Both sides have to rotate in if you want to deny both.

XP being more important again and Outposts pumping it out evenly makes them a more important objective. Now there isn't a scramble at 39:30 for them. Holding map control gets rewarded on XP.

Wow, they finally made ranged Manta style equal to melee. That is a big change.

Divine rapier having removed true strike makes it worse in most cases, even if damage increased.

A lot of buffs to int cores in the items. Necro missing is of course a big deal but shiva, dagon, kaya etc got buffed.


Brewmaster buff of cast time on ulti is huge as well. Been standard to run in after ulti because it just gets stopped.

Brood remake is interesting. Worse at jungling/laning until level 6 but the kit seems very strong at level 7 when you get a few spiders up and use the bonus magical damage.

Crystal Maiden
Reworked Shard. Now allows you to move, cast, and attack during Freezing Field. Your movement speed is reduced by 75% during this and the Freezing Field follows your movement. Interruptions and Silences will still interrupt the spell. THIS IS HUGE. Late game CM with BKB can now actually do more than channel ulti. Combo with DS, Centaur, Haste Rune or even a nice Lycan and you can do some funny stuff. Especially now that abyssal is melee range.

Dazzle shard adding a hex. Finally giving him a TP cancel. Might see more Dazzle core. Though losing necro might negate that.

Death Prophet shard is also interesting. Fearing the enemy after 4s of siphon. Feels balanced with the other nerfs she got.

Ember Shard now provides you with a charge when killing enemy heroes, rather than spawning a Fire Remnant (except in the case where you die), is interesting. A magic Ember could wipe the enemy team with the extra 4 charges in a team fight. Though if behind it is a worthless shard.

Time Dilation is now probably my most hated ability in the game.

FINALLY Attribute Shift now has 10 mana cost per second to shift attributes

Might see more necrophos again. Heartstopper Aura buffs are quite large combined with the other stuff.

OD scepter with AoE. Pretty big buff. Though losing the cast range is bad for pos 4s I guess.

The none-blink builds on Puck keep getting nerfed.

Take Aim, Active reworked. No longer gives double range for an attack. Now lasts 4 seconds and grants you True Strike and +30% Headshot chance. So MKB might no longer be as required...

I really feel like storm needed this buff and everybody wanted it: Level 25 Talent improved from 600 Distance Auto Remnant to 550

1 value point in Reflection might be worth it now? Though I doubt it. :D

The "forest" changes in the sidelanes look like you could do _a lot_ of juking around! I foresee quite a few narrow excapes from good woodfolks

Game feels even more snowbally than before. I think they buffed too many fighter heroes and they feast now that runes are abound and outposts can't be timed.

Dawnbreaker mid was interesting to face, she feels super strong at lvl 2 against an unsuspecting hero.

Played against a team of her + spiritbreaker and she'd just ult in whenever he charged something, felt strong.

Brood is either going to be completely garbage or complete bonkers.
Overall she seems a lot stronger past the lane, the new insatiable hunger is probably stronger than the old one thanks to the much shorter cd, she'll do 1020 magic damage within 7 seconds of going on someone and slows and gets amped spider damage. Her kill potential will be immense.
On the flipside she needs to max all 4 skills and level 1-5 are probably garbage compared to before.

Necro removal is a huge deal for Dazzle, Enigma, Lycan and BM. I think Lycan can go right-click and BM perhaps aghs, but I don't think core dazzle or core eni are still a thing after this.

Other than that the tower changes look like they enable fairly safe teleport spots now and the wardspots in jungles should buff the defending side. I haven't really tried it, but it looks to me like it's harder to pull in the offlane.

Isn't OD loosing cast range a bigger deal than aoe? Like by the point I have scepter I don't care about farming speed that much anymore and scepter is usually bought to safe people according to my experiences.

I think we'll see her mostly played with a jumping initiator that can setup for her ult. I still think her damage numbers are quite low unless you are farmed and while jump into stun into dawnbreaker ult into q is powerful it's also a 100-120 secs cd.

Since most OD go meme hammer for farming the aoe won't matter that much. I agree the range is probably a bigger deal.

I'll never get some of these changes because they are so meaningless, like

Is that extra 25 mana change at lvl2 really a necessity? Like what's the point

Now it is a nice even 150 increase per level. If you keep looking at heroes and their abilities as your job a different like that probably starts nagging at you.

Thanks for the link. Looks like I was right about DB being a bit underpowered in terms of numbers.
Hopefully the fixed the bug that she's perma-banned.

Playing her even after the buff she felt a bit meh to me, though I may just not have figured her out. She has a strong combo in lane with Q and W, but I was struggling to make her particularly effective late game. I just bought aura items like Vlads Crimson Pipe Blademail. Is blink good on her purely to set up Qs?

Her Q is pretty tricky to aim - if you're too close to the target you miss the stun, too far and they walk away. There's a minimal slow applied with each swing of the hammer. In fact if you're against her and you're being melee'd by her and she then starts her Q, you just need to walk to her a tiny bit and her stun will miss.

shes not mars, shes more like a slardar or ck (without phantasm). you can put those utility items on her because shes beefy and has a global jump but they dont fit with her concept really.

For 3 pos maybe consider Solar Crest as a support/aura item. The slow can help you land the Q.
