Come to see a Terrorblade minor nerfs, found a buff, wasn't disapointed by IceFrog.
I think players forget this hero during Super Major but he is still unstoppable when he is 25

I don't understand the why they want to make AM more picked. For years he was one of the most OP heroes, now he is a situational pick as he should be. When a hero that is supposed to be an anti-mage is the number one choice for carry you can tell he's op. He's not anti-hero, he's antimage after all!

i think overall the meta from supermajor was pretty good but i felt like meta will revert back to static 5 man tanky cores at TI

While I think that's a massive buff, Kotl really doesn't fit into the current early fighting meta. He isn't very strong in the early game and he needs 2 items before he comes online, which is just too slow.

Should be pretty obvious by now that IF rarely nerfs the OP part of a hero because he wants heroes to be as different as possible.

BM is OP because he is a big lane bully thanks to axes, -2 armor means he can't trade as efficiently in lane.

Imo NS will still see play. Probably even more as a pos3 than before, we saw the strengths of it when you give him levels. Crippling fear CD hurts but it means you get probably only 1 off instead of 2 per fight early, and rectifies itself later on.

Gyro got hit the hardest I think with the flak talent change. The Aghs build can somewhat cover that weakness but I don't know if it's enough

Io got hit but probably not hard enough. Naga barely changed either, but maybe for the best.

The huskar talent is irrelevant imo, you don't pick that hero to go late. Could make for some mean late pubs though.

Lycan probably gonna still be top tier

Beastmaster's mid-late game weakness is that he's deceptively squishy without BKB. He doesn't normally build tank items and his stat growths are awful. Taking him out of fights is not very difficult.

I want to try to have some fun with offlane Phoenix some more. With the level 20 talent, the Supernova explosion has a 4.25 second duration stun that ignores spell immunity. Still needs to be coupled with another crowd control source to make it effective, but that's a Black Hole disable on a fraction of the cooldown.

TB is good. But this buff doesn't make that much difference. Think the meta has too much focus on bursty strong lanes right now and that's the bigger reason it is not seeing play.

Illidan was already going for barrage talent together with aghs build. Less AOE damage but better in single target burst in fights. So no, I don't think gyro is completely dead.

Yeah I also had my hopes up for DP being nerfed to the ground. The nerf to the euls is essentially a nerf to her movement speed though. Maybe that together with other heroes being buffed is enough to push her out of meta. Please let it be true!

Wow, these Pudge buffs are actually solid.

Necro's late game got significant buffs, don't really know, hero has early/mid game problems to the point that he hardly transitions to the late game unless he is stomping the game. Hopefully we will see him being played from time to time.

Huskar level 25 talents are great, but I think that people are overreacting, anyone playing Huskar don't want for game to reach late game, he has certain and almost unstoppable timing widows, he loses late game against other carries. He rushes BKB, and then later when it's 5 seconds he gets cced to death in team fights.

Gyrocopter can still be played as fighting carry, he is no longer the farming carry he was few patches ago, but will probably fall off heavily.

I'm surprised that Doom wasn't touched. I have a feeling he'll be quite significant during the summer, teams are picking him into these strong dual lanes quite a lot. Maybe he won't take over but he tends to be a hero that is either too good or not good at all, in the pro games at least.

Upon further contemplating the patch, these are my thought:

how come Clinkz was buffed and not reworked? [consistently 52-55+ percent winrate in Divine yet never touched in comp]

how come Windrunner was not nerfed despite plaguing Public Match Making and being picked competitively?

how come the game-breakingly misleadingly worded tool tip for Juggernaut's Blade Dance has not yet been fixed????

Doom can be somewhat countered. His strength is always relative to the type of lineup on the other side and the skill of the Doom player. Upon further contemplating the patch, these are my thought:

how come Clinkz was buffed and not reworked? [consistently 52-55+ percent winrate in Divine yet never touched in comp]

how come Windrunner was not nerfed despite plaguing Public Match Making and being picked competitively?

how come the game-breakingly misleadingly worded tool tip for Juggernaut's Blade Dance has not yet been fixed????

Huskar level 25 talents are great, but I think that people are overreacting, anyone playing Huskar don't want for game to reach late game, he has certain and almost unstoppable timing widows, he loses late game against other carries. Gyrocopter can still be played as fighting carry, he is no longer the farming carry he was few patches ago, but will probably fall off heavily.

Huskar is mainly an early game brawler because BKB counters him pretty hard. So that 25 will definitely make him stay relevant for longer, although he prolly is going to have 5-10 weak minutes between the first bkbs and his 25, then peak a second time (if he didn't loose too much in the 5-10 mins) just to fall off later on again. So while I doubt it's enough for him to see regular play, I do think it's a pretty significant buff.

good patch ... i hate gyro as a hero... so ugly to look at ... would be good if he doesn't appear 9/10 games this TI

Honestly I've watched BSJ play NS safelane and offlane as last-pick hero when the draft just needs something tanky & aggressive, and he's stomped every time (high 6k and 7k games). The nerfs are noticeable but by no means enough to remove him from the TI8 meta, I think.
