on naga, honestly BoTs 2 letting u BoT to illusions is one of the more BS things in dota

tbh that naga ti2 meme video is just dumb hype it was 100% going to be a navi win if they engaged like that ig didnt even have the advantage walking into that fight

TI2 in general had so many entertaining games imoimo.

can you all stop being fun vampires and live in the moment thanks for ur cooperation

it was just as frustrating to watch live to see a team lose mostly due to engine bugs

the play wouldn't have happened if dota 2 followed dota 1 mechanics with the ravage song interactions since in dota 1 u can cancel song while the enemy is in the air from ravage and it would instant stun which was impossible in dota 2

ti2 > ti3 > ti1 > ................. > ti4

in terms of what? TI3 overall was worse than TI4 by a significant margin in the overall quality of games and TI4 was the only TI thus far not to have games decided by dota2 engine bugs

This whole situation shows how fucking amateur hour player management is in 'esports'. You have a 10 million dollar tournament and you have no back-ups in place for the biggest event of the year for your players to resolve quite possibly the most common online issue, ISP fuck-ups and connectivity.
His backup PC didn't have dota updated He had no reservation setup with the 900 local LAN centers in his area in the event his ISP pooped No backup location with Friends/Family established prior
I think any good manager would have at minimum established the above for their players prior to this event. I guess I'm expecting too much though, probably because I'm not some dipshit kid who thinks putting 'team manager, thoughts are my own' on their twitter makes them worth a shit.

You're confusing NAdota with something that uses rules and regulations

All NYC lost internet for a period of time. Plz explain to me how he is supposed to correct this issue. I am very interested in your response. Should players be required to have two internet connections with two separate providers? If they are in a single provider area, should they just move?

It wasn't all of NYC. He had somewhere else he could play, but the backup computer didn't have Dota 2 updated.

who's the manager of nar anyways, gerg?

Only Time Warner in certain areas lost connectivity. If literally every LAN center and every friend and family member nearby uses the same provider he was pretty boned, but I highly doubt that. You can tell none of this was ever even considered though considering his back-up laptop didn't even have dota updated. I would have most certainly researched LAN center options in his area with different ISPs options if I was a manager prior to the event. I would have done this for all my players.

Yeah some NADOTA T2 team's manager isn't going to do that though
