It's day one and there are games currently going and yet they have the focus on people playing munchkin with a good chunk of the people playing being people i have no idea who is. I mean eu hub was far from perfect but atleast it primarily had people actually watching and commentating on the dota currently happening with a mix between couch cam and video feed of the game happening. Also still have yet to see Maquannas or Miss snowfox do any 'hosting' or anything relevant. I mean atleast Jess spent time reading questions from twitter and getting them answered. Still waiting to see why the fuck they were invited. | ||

To me that's a very strange, reality-tv esque thing to commit to. I didn't watch EU hub last year so I don't know how it was set up, but I have tuned into a PPD drunk mario party stream that was pretty entertaining. However that feels different from "we're going to stream these rooms 24 hours a day and encourage people to play various games in them/hang out on camera" There seems to be a clear demand for it and I don't really have a problem with it, but it's something I'd be really hesitant to do. Not sure what my point is here. | ||

The things i liked about the eu hub last year was 1: They watched dota and it was fun to just casually watch the qualifiers like that with multiple people talking about the game without really trying to cast it. 2: Pros on stream talking about the games came with a ton of insight 3: It was a lot of fun to see guys like n0tail, sing, PLD and so on play games like mario part. (Mostly because they're great entertainers) 4: Bruno and kuro keeping the streams entertained at night was really good. There were some other smaller things but i didn't really care about them playing DnD or other card games in the background, and this time that shit seems to be the main focus which honestly just makes it fucking boring. | ||

That was honestly the main draw of the eu hub, that was what made it fun to watch. Like, watching sing+PLD vs N0tail+Fly play mario party was fucking hilarious, watching shane, pyrion, maut and zyori play games? Not so much. | ||
