I watched a trailer and it looks disappointingly outdated. Animations that kind of lack fluidity, almost feel clunky at times. Lighting rather than being dark looks bad. But idk, maybe the trailer's cuts were just not to my taste as it was hard to get a proper look at stuff (intentional?...). I'll definitely be waiting for price details and at least the first couple of weeks of bugfixing. And I just remembered that Nier replicant ver. 123123123123123123123 comes out in 2 months. Torn on this one. After the Nier automata PC port desaster I'm also gonna wait out the release and see whether I like what I see gameplay wise. It looks slower than automata and not sure I like that. While it's also a remaster, the improvement in graphics over automata is seemingly nonexistent when actual gameplay is show instead of a polished trailer - rather disappointing for a full price relase. I'll be waiting for the next game in the series I think. | ||

Which means, it being form Blizzard it will sell like hot cakes for a month riding a huge hype wave, #1 on twitch etc. After a month there will be max 5k active players left and the rest will move on. Blizzard execs will say "YUGE SUCCESSSSSS!!! WE GOT THEIR MONEYS AND CAN NOW SAVE ON SERVERS, FUCKING GOLDBAGS GAMURZ!!!" and start remastering the best Blizzard game of all time. though @poulsen if you like PoE and DIII, I think faruko and I recommended Grim Dawn a couple years back. Haven't played it in a while and the passive tree is almost as daunting as PoE's but the guides in the official forum used to be really good. | ||
