Depending upon the early/mid game, Invoker will have different roles in the late game. The general idea, however, is to get a Scepter and any mana regeneration item and proceed to use all your spells in large team fights. Unless you have played Invoker as a hard carry (which I think is a terrible idea, there are so many other ways to play him effectively), your role is now a support / caster. Try giving your carry Alacrity to boost his damage, cold snap on enemy disablers to render them useless, and cast Meteor/Tornado/EMP/Deafening Blast to just dish out as much damage as possible. | ||

Sadly, I am still only at the stage where I can do maybe half the spells pretty well. I still have a long way to go I see, just need to get accustomed to and naturally pick the abilities. | ||

With Tornado + EMP to help out in team fights, Ghost Walk to escape sticky situations, and Cold Snap to support/kill, Invoker becomes a fearsome hero. An added bonus is extra regen and movement speed - move around like a true spectre~ | ||

 I usually go tornado and cold snap while in mid early game. Tornado to help damage all the creeps and give me a quick edge on the hero if going for gank. And of course, cold Snap for added measure. I do love Tornado skill. | ||
