Excluding Na`Vi's own players, who do you think is the best hard lane player? And solo mid?
I don’t like the “role thing” and never did. For me there is no difference between hard lane player and solo mid player. It’s still Dota. Good player know how to play Dota. If you are good player, you can play anything that team needs (because you understand the game). Bad players use excuses like “I am good carry, but bad support” and things like that. As far as we never switch our lanes (where I go mid and Light go hard lane solo) I can’t answer your question.
When you have 5 high skill players who realize this and take it to heart. That's when you have a top tier team. This is the real reason Na'Vi has been at the top this long in dota2. It's not cuz dendi is the best solo mid or they have the best captain or gankers etc.
Yeah I really like his attitude, especially with stuff like the term "metagame."
I've also noticed Dendi mention how Puppey doesn't listen to Dendi's hero pick suggestions before as well haha.
He once complained in an interview that Puppey would pick QoP for him 10 games in a row during bootcamp, then never pick QoP for him during the actual tournament. :D
I hate tobi's style of play on NP. I was watching sings stream once and they were queuing together, tobi picks np and opens with like gloves and clarities. sing says something like "your build is like, 'im gonna be useless not for 10 minutes, but for 50.'" and then he just farms jungle all game/uses ult to take last hits on heroes kills.
But he does rape, that's the thing. It works out, because nobody farms that much, not in pubs. Those carries who average 2~3 cs per minute? Yeah, they're getting stomped. Those 5 man roamers with no TPs? Bye bye rax. Only problem is when the team feeds, or loses the game before NP gets fat. ^^

So yeah, go figure if you free farm the entire fucking game without helping your team and they somehow manage to stay even playing 4v5 you can end up winning.
You don't need to afk farm the jungle to get fat on prophet, it's so easy to gank and push towers down. Building bad items on prophet makes him so worthless in teamfights for the longest time as well. Luckily I don't see this playstyle on chinese/sea servers much, on US west it was so annoying.

Can anyone recommend some good vods of CK owning it up?
I can't really, but this should be a good place to search. dota-academy

They said that I was throwing the game and started calling me fag and stuff like that even though we won in the end. I was a support leshrac and I ended up with more items than our carries ( yes, they were ultra bad ), and still denied that their decisions were stupid. Really, I don't understand what's wrong with the kids that play this game. Why do people needs to flame every single game, even when they are winning ? Does it make them feel better ? Is it because they want to win really badly ? But then, why do some people still do it even when they are winning ? This kind of attitude happens only on Dota afaik.
Only on Dota? Come on. People here on Brazil kills because of soccer. Do you remember what happened in Canada because of ice hockey?
Competitions simply draw the best and the worst of every human being. That you're seeing it happening with Dota is just a coincidence, you would see it happening in soccer or any other competitive game if you keep playing it.
I believe the big problem that happens is something that Rocket (DayZ' developer) mentioned in an interview (you can read it here). He was asked if he thinks about DayZ players having fun while making the game, and his answer is no. His reasoning is so awesome: excitement ('fun') is a very cheap emotion. He's way more worried with the authenticity of the emotions provoked by the game. A lot of people go to Dota hoping that 'fun' will be handled to then for free, and when they see it's not happening, shit ensues. But this kind of behavior became part of our culture, so I don't think it's the game fault.
If people approach Dota as a game where you're challenged to solve problems alongside with others, and if they realize that they're failing HARD when they're not able to work with others, that they need to bond with others in order to have more chances and to better execute everything, then the game experience would be improved a lot. People worry too much with winning and losing and forget the whole journey to reach any of these destinies.
