Got stuck playing against the Demon stack twice last night. I never get easy games anymore bring back the old mmr system imo!
I just kid, being able to play MMR and actually have a competent team is cool. Except this one game a guy who had 400 wins couldn't play axe at all. That was an unfortunate game.

the people in the games I'm in have not been great. I'm no longer in the highest skill tier, too. I haven't lost much recently, though, so I wonder if that will change.
additionally, the people on my team have been more hit or miss than usual; rather than always sucking sometimes I get people who are good and sometimes they suck.
the last game I played though the three best people in the game were on one team.

It was probably my lack of skill back then, but heroes like Undying, now that I've had what I think is a great game with him, are really good after being able to play him again. How does he fit into the competitive scene, is he commonly picked up? Because it just seems like he has alot which synergizes with the current meta game.
He has some cute utility in some scenarios that make him a solid niche pick, but his lack of AoE, hard disables, or lategame carry potential mean that he doesn't really have the fundamentals.
He's basically a cheese hero.
Here's undying used in a pro game. It's in DotA between 2 Russian teams, OSI and M5 (not pgg. it was G, NS, AA, Dread, Santa). It's one of the best games I have ever seen, I really recommend watching it, don't want to spoil anything, but there are some very surprising moments.
this game makes me want to see bristleback in Dota 2. Looks so damn fun to play.

This is one of my favorite games. Hearing Luminous baffled is just icing on the cake. Excellent strategy by the winner.

when i have been following dota 1 she is used as a ricer/pusher. her ulti is used for combo-breaking in teamfights, especially on base sieges
Some of the recent Chinese games with siren so far:
DK vs NA:
iG vs Tongfu:
The pinoys tend to do tri-lane babysit, then she'll farm phase boots + vanguard into radiance and heart, whereas the Chinese tend to get drums ASAP to trigger more mid-game fights.

Maybe he never bothered to learn it, I have thousands of hours clocked for DotA/WC3 and I'd be completely clueless if you gave me Wisp :p
Eh that may be true. I have been playing a fair amount of wisp. I've gotten to play him more now that he is in CM. Still working out the kinks in my play but he has far greater utility than I previously imagined. Also, Wisp+SK, nuff said.
