Argument 1: "It also helps..." Emphasis added. By no means is it essential. That's reading 101. The essential thing is avoiding loans you can't pay back. Argument 2: I certainly didn't pick a degree that helped me get a job, yet I've got no debt. It's not because of my degree choice, it's because I didn't take out tons of loans. Argument 3: "If you take out loans (that you can't repay) it is no one's fault but your own". It's about the loans. Not the degree. The loans. If I could put that in bigger font, I would. You cannot remove school choice because it is the biggest driver of debt.

Are you familiar with the oldschool wage slavery systems? You know, the ones with the company store? Are the debtors at fault for those loans as well? If not, how do you distinguish between legitimate debt and illegitimate debt?

[big][/big]Add more big tags to make it bigger (or small tags if you want to write small). You claim the first argument is about loans, but the second argument is talking about degrees in comparison: On September 16 2014 06:01 LuckoftheIrish wrote: Amusingly, I triple-majored in history, classics and Asian Studies. None of those things are even remotely worthwhile. On the other hand, a buddy of mine in high school got his Master Electrician's license and is making $150,000 a year. It just takes a certain amount of foresight and the willingness to look at things rationally and without romance. No matter how many professors tell you otherwise, or how stupid it sounds, a degree in Gender Studies or Creative Writing qualifies you to work as a barista, while a certification in pipefitting guarantees that you'll make enough money to do whatever you want to do for fun. On September 16 2014 06:20 LuckoftheIrish wrote: If people knowingly make shitty decisions, they shouldn't be surprised when those decisions have consequences. If you take out loans to pay for an expensive liberal arts college, and you get a degree that doesn't have career potential, it is no one's fault but your own that you're stuck in debt. It's no different to buying anything else you can't afford. Argument 3 talks about the degree. It's a follow-up to the comparison of argument 2. I don't deny that loans and degrees go hand-in-hand, but you're trying to separate something you used to compare and validate your point. In short, I simply don't agree with your rigid viewpoint. Are the debtors at fault for those loans as well? If not, how do you distinguish between legitimate debt and illegitimate debt? All debt is legitimate by the collector. If you need to take out a loan to afford a degree but are then blamed for not choosing the ideal degree to pay back that loan (as fast as you could possible pay it back), then the whole purpose of going to university is self-defeating (if it means to only pay back that debt/to avoid blame for not paying back that debt faster). I'm disagreeing with the perspective, not the rationale behind not being able to pay your debt back.

I think EG should give more farm to PPD, though. Getting an AC on him would do so much work. I MEAN A SECOND AC BECAUSE THAT'S LITERALLY SO GOOD + Show Spoiler + fuckin' artour

The issue wasn't about play conditions, it was about game programming. There's something fishy going on if a hero caught in the most complete disable in the game can actively cancel it.
