I really wonder why people in my games think that underfarmed and underleveled techies sitting in trees planting mines all day is an effective way of playing the hero. Sometimes it's not really just about being effective but having fun really. I would be ok with losing a game if i had fun as techies. Although people will tryhard as much as possible so w/e.
so you are telling me that blowing up people is not fun? OK
but being useless all game, maybe getting 1 spite kill with random mines is fun?

I just used up my "fun shit" budget on getting the Path Finder Card game and going out to dinner with the lady this week.
Nah, not paycheck to paycheck, just being a good person with my cash.

idk but you sound angry .. i think you misunderstood
i just actually said that people sometimes prioritize having fun(it could mean troll all game and shit like that) than play seriously

Now the Pathfinder Card game is serious business.

I like the Techies arcana but I can't enjoy the hero given how many times I die and how smartly my opponents play.

My other biggest complaint about Arcana is that future iterations are offering more for the same price and even regular sets are setting new standards of modified stuff.

I enjoy winning so isn't tryharding a natural progression

You are complaining that you are getting more features and higher quality for the same price?

I was being facetious in response to a comment that computer games were serious business. Context is cool.

Look at the Lina Arcana: it's 30-35 dollars for a lot less customization then current arcanas and even normal sets/items.
I don't think you read my opinion correctly.

lina arcana changes her animations and makes her bald and sets her head on fire
i think tb's arcana is the real candidate for laziness, barely changes the model and they only changed the colors of his footprints and blades.

i random every game with ~50% winrate i can pick 70% winrate heros every game how would that not be a meaningful difference?

Point being if I purchase something now, it may have less features than something of equal price in the future. So I will hold onto that money.
But since we can't know how much customization Valve will permit for both Arcanas and normal sets, it's pretty much a vicious cycle.
