What lol you could send the bear to fountain for even faster reheals. its actually stupidly good :/ wasn't the DotA 1 model fixed, along with BH's, in a 6.6x update or something? BH was fixed but Treant is still not that easy given his size. Hardest is Slark.

HAHA, nothing was more frustrating yet simple than trying to click on old Bounty Hunter.

In dota1, the big centaur doesn't focus melee heroes if you attack it like the Wildkin, although sometimes the small one chases me more than it should. Sometimes the small wolves chase a little too.
Treant ult has a much lower cooldown than tide's ult, so it feels like a different usage. Of course you can manta/bkb out of it.

Don't the gnolls do that to melee heroes in dota 2 always? Annoying as all hell. (only difference is they don't target ranged heroes ... which sometimes makes it harder to jungle as ranged. (On radiant you could abuse the gnoll targeting by standing on the hill and forcing them to attack uphill for misschances)
Also what rng changes? I thought it was the prng, albeit not an exact copy as that would be a bit more than blizzard would let Valve would let them get away with

Is it just me or does the easy troll camp's healer dps and heal at the same time while it didn't in DotA?

+ diffusal the root iirc
also, does the troll healer's heal feel faster compared to DotA's, or is it because of the attack+heal at the same time thing?

Ravage vs Overgrowth - as stated above it's cooldown is lower but there are other factors as well. Even if they can't escape the root, you can still cast spells in it and it affects units that are magic immune when it is cast. So the way I see it, it is more useful against DPS.
A problem that can occur with Tide is when an enemy carry such as Lycan just BKBs and charges straight for him, he can't really pop the ravage because it won't do anything but he might die before he can (especially if it's a 10 second BKB). You can just root them with Treant.

hmm to be fair old Mortred was also relativly hard to click and see

Treant is one big mess of a hero. No other hero has been reworked as often as he has been since 6.60. His skillset has always been wierd and hard to balance. Only way for Icefrog to finaly get him into -cm was to nerf his ulti to the ground.
Also, this was hilarious(and sad) + Show Spoiler +

lol that picture.
Treant, ugh. Just ugh.. From Eyes of the Forest, to that Sentinel (Owl) skill, now Leech seed. And ulti getting nerfed to oblivion. Overall bad choice to implement him early in Dota 2. He just needs to be reworked... again.

I disagree.
The main difference is on the hard camps. Satyrs and Wildkins are doable from level 1 because of the AI differences, meaning that it's significantly harder to disrupt Lycan's jungle pattern when he can rely on doable hard camp spawns even if his easy camp is blocked. It's not just an issue of how you clarity--there are camps that you generally wouldn't attempt at level 1/2 that are as easy as Trolls now.

I never had trouble trying to click bounty hunter :/

Before icefrog made the model change, someone developed a mod that would change the model file for the entire warcraft3 game just so people could click him. Quickly became one of the most downloaded mods for WC3.

Like the look of the DotA 2 Treant, and ulty visials. Sooo many changes on Treant through the years lol.
Free tree wards. you could potentially ward the whole map given enough time. Loved the Owls one best. You could set up like 5 owls in one area, activating them all so each does 200dmg. Lure enemy in and BAM! Nuked down. Was hilarious. Plus the vision was handy. Miss the old tree armor active. 5 second Ult now only 3 Treant now seems kinda okay on paper, yet still suckish. Low CD long Invis for intiating set up, scouting and ganks. Whole team invis + 10% ms :D Leech Seed, decent for pushing since it heals all creeps and allies. And harrassing, esp with soul ring. Living Armor, global heal on allies and TOWERSSS! Given enough time, heal towers to full HP. Ulty low CD and goes through BKB.
Hope he gets picked in competive play for lulz.

Living armor is no longer global on towers

Nooooooooooo da fuq is dis shit
Buff the tree ant 2012!

The old treant was my favourite hero. You could play him as a carry or as a support. Shiva refreshers was beyond retarded .

What treant needs is a solid aghanims effect.
