ECAL eSports has set up a channel on own3d.tv where 3 of our players and even some of the staff will be streaming. The team will be streaming highskill scrims when they practice sometimes against known teams and sometimes against some good but slightly unknown teams. They will also stream tournament first person views anytime the tournaments allow it. One of them (MrSwish) will also stream a decent amount of very high mmr matchmaking.
I'll give an overview of the players that will stream:
MrSwish was a top HoN solo mid player with Duskbin, and he also played for Mineski in the TI2 eastern qualifiers in Dota 2. He's extremely aggressive so his stream will be good to watch if you enjoy that playstyle, he doesn't give much commentary but I'm sure if you guys watch his stream and ask him to talk about things he would consider doing it. This stream is decent quality but we're still working on improving it. This stream also has a lot of very high mmr matchmaking for anybody that enjoys watching that. http://www.own3d.tv/ecaltv/live/355559
Taku was the captain of GDT in Dota 1 and was also with them in The Defense in early Dota 2, he usually plays hard carry in practice games and streams at very high quality in 720p. This is a good stream to watch while the team is in practice games as Taku has very good camera control and as the captain usually pays attention to the whole map despite playing carries, and I believe that will be good for viewers that are interesting in watching high skilled scrims. Taku was also known as the batman or bat king on GosuGamers long ago for his great batrider play and replays, so maybe you guys can convince him to play batrider on his stream. http://www.own3d.tv/ecaltv/live/355561
Exiled is another stream with top mmr matchmaking as well as streaming during practice games. He is the off support player so it will be good to watch if you enjoy watching jungle heroes or roaming gankers and etc. This stream is also very good quality and he is quite entertaining to listen to while he plays. http://www.own3d.tv/ecaltv/live/341371
Nova also streams on the channel but is not a player on the team. He is a very skilled ex professional Chinese player and I believe he already has a thread on teamliquid here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=351479
If enough viewers find an interest in watching ECAL streamers then we will also organise various kinds of viewer events, so possibly these streams will be a good place for you to go if you want to be involved in events with good players, like viewer games and etc. We will also accept suggestions for these events.
I also invite any posters here to give their opinion on how any of the streamers could improve the experience.
