Korok is great and his skill isn't something you can replace or match, you simply try a different approach.

No one was using clock at all, then Liquid use it like 4-5 times in one or two weeks, and suddenly everyone starts using it. Even China began using it around June (thank god, watching the same 10 heroes every game from China games was annoying) And at TI3, Bulba showed again his clockwork performance. If we talk about Bulldog being the most known Lone druid/NP player, then I think Bulba deserves that kind of praise for his clockwork. And TC for his Razor. That's a fair enough point, but we still have other players like Brax, who single-handedly won a game at TI3 with his Clock play (shutting down both enemy supports, getting huge pickoffs throughout the rest of the game). The other guys seem to like them, and they all seem to share the same mindset on how to play. If alliance has shown anything, it's that dedication and a similar approach on how to play can go a long way. Alliance players aren't the most talented at their positions (although I believe Akke might be), but they are all damn good and better together. This is what liquid wants to build. Korok is great and his skill isn't something you can replace or match, you simply try a different approach. Although you're spot-on about Alliance working together perfectly, Loda is probably the most versatile carry player in the world (though arguments could be made about his other talents), and EGM is definitely in contention for the best high-impact support (can't say 4 or 5 position, because it varies depending on whether Akke plays Chen). Bulldog is also the best player at those few heroes he can actually use, though he also has one of the lowest total counts of playable heroes. s4 and Akke are superbly talented as well, though I don't think I can quite say "best" for either. So there's a huge amount going for them in sheer skill as well as team coordination.

And if he is as dedicated as Nazgul said (and Nazgul is one of the smartest people in esports) then thats all the more reason to support this decision, no pun intended. Korok for Qojv is a push; but Qojv gives Liquid something they never had before: a Natures Prophet player. Remember throughout TI3, whenever Mouz played agame with Qojv on NP, the casters were all like "Keep an eye out for Courier snipes, Qojv is the best at it" - This is what the new dota meta needs, splitpushing and misdirection, which is why Alliance won. Add in finally a top-notch Chen player like Alliance uses to still have the brute force to stop pushes (or push) while NP is splitpushing, and you can finally pull off the current meta. Mike and korok handicapped Liquid from doing that before, due to their limited hero pool (well, Bulba not playing NP and if FLUFF took chen, mike couldn take complimentary heros like Naga) I still hope Bulba plays clockwork offlane at times though when its drafted. Qojv can 3 for everything else, but Bulba should offlane clockwork, as hes the best in the world at it. You seem to remember how Qojva performed during TI3 but can't seem to remember how wayto performed during the entire year ![]() I'm all for Qojva, I was really hoping he was going to join KP (but I guess I can settle for Aui since he's showing us what a four role can really bring to the table); however, the split push style requires more than just one person. You can't just simply go and push a lane. Synderen, Black, Fata and paS were able to make that space happen, but can Liquid? It's something we'll have to see with time.

I was thinking about this today. I saw somewhere that Liquid is back on Netherlands, right? And now they have 2 canadians, 2 americans and (most likely) 1 german.

Although I guess with dota that all has a lot to do with what heroes you end up on. I guess I want to see if wts can do every game what he did on rubick in ti3

So, that means, this week, ppd has played in a professional HoN game AND a professional dota 2 game! Thats pretty crazy. I guess its a team game so its not as impressive as the Kespa BW/SC2 combined tourney, but still pretty impressive. Not nearly as impressive as Iceiceice
