In fact I think playing against stronger teams will benefit the new teams because you are competing against the best. That's how you improve, instead of staying in a comfort zone. Right now the Chinese need to wake up and stop being complacent. They used to think they can respond and adapt to western drafts. They had since g-1 to do so, but they all struggled. They stubbornly refused to acknowledge the strengths in western drafts. They stubbornly stay with dirt poor #4 and #5 when alliance has shown time and time again that a decently farmed #4 is strong.

The idea of restricting big Chinese teams to bigger tournaments only makes sense if you want to protect the lesser teams. However, the fact that there isn't any fresh players breaking through means the policy is not benefiting the target, while it is weakening the big teams. Hi, you are month late with your analysis, this all has been discussed to death with exactly same topics.

If you really follow all the NA teams you should know that EG actually had better results than Dignitas, and especially against Dignitas, which EG won 11 out of 17 games they played with each other. Just because they didn't make it to TI3 doesn't mean they're worse than the teams that got direct invite to TI. Same goes to VP, they had a good year but failed so hard in TI for some reason. Not to mention KP. The mentality that only use TI to judge the teams really need to change here.

I think LGD.cn is set with xiaotuji as their #1, and not sure if LGD.int 2nd edition will happen at all, most likely not. Most likely further TongFu's shuffle.

If anything, what I was trying to convey was that: Too bad EG didnt kick all their bad players and add Korok in.
