depends on how prevalent dual lanes become. In this patch where 3-1-1 is common, the carry has absolutely no need for a qb unless they get a battlefury since they have uncontested farm. If you're a dual lane vs dual lane quelling blade will become more important to ensure you can get the last hits. The bonus gold is pretty irrelevant because salves and tangos cost more money now]

I never liked getting QB ever right from the start, unless it's a jungle build like for Doom or laning BS. Even then it's a toss-up. I feel like my last hitting mechanics are decent enough to secure the last hits. Plus I don't like relying on the extra damage since it will mess up my estimations with other heroes, especially ranged.

I prefer to spend the gold on consumables, stats, or just flat out save up for something else. I only get QB on AM with Battlefury already, or situationally against NP ganks.

A lot of nerfs though could be bad news for him. Armor reduced by 1, 30% stat share loss, and Tranquils change hinders his early jungling (to get more XP while in lane) for the clone anyway. It's more for improving his laning capability.


Meepo usually doesn't get any stat items before aghanims so that 30% stat share loss only affect 3 less stats from aghanims buildup, also 23 strength and 4 armor is still very high physical ehp at level 1.

I would love to see this turn into 2-2-1 like the REALLY old days. with a 2v2 matchup mid, easy to peel off for top or bot and gank without letting mid farm go to waste.. plus 2v2 mid around the ramps would make early game spectating of mid really entertaining.

I think meepo is hurt, atleast in pub context, i have no idea about competitive. But the whole thing with meepo is that once he got 6 his farming went through the roof once he got tranquils, with easy ass level 11 meepo, and a like 11-15 minute aghs. That doesnt happen anymore cause tranquils cant sustain you. Maybe its just cause i played a farming orientated meepo rushing super fast heart and eth blade, but i just dont see what the level 4 meepo as well as the other nerfs do to help him.

Wouldn't say reverted; the wording implies that the dragons will fly, but the ability to deny waves of creeps was too broken to keep in the game so they removed it for now.

Was thinking last night as I fell asleep. The small/medium camp switch thing may have some inadvertent nerfs to certain heroes that would farm them while being mid on radiant side like SF or DS which I suppose evens out the playing field between radiant and dire. However it's also a buff to safelane alchemist's early game gold if your support stacks the small camp he can just rip through them for a grip of fast easy gold while never really leaving the lane.

HUGE buff to Radi SF. Now he can stack a Medium camp instead of an Easy camp. As long as it doesn't get too many Mud Golems, he's going to farm that stack hard. If he gets insanely lucky and snags a couple Ogre/Satyr spawns alternating, he's going to dominate mid without really having to do anything.

What's a difference between a stun and a 100% slow/atkspeed slow ?
Ho, I understood while typing it, you can now use items during a 'Tether now does a -100% MS/AS slow instead of a stun'.

There is a minimum movement speed you can't get below. You can also have more + AS than Tether gives - AS.
