Also lots of new things that are similiar to League mechanics: - Axe new ult, gold for dewarding, longer ward time, lower movespeed boots, 2-1-1 + jungle or 2-1-2 new meta, no trilanes Big buffs to forgotten heroes like Death Prophet, Brood, Meepo, WD, Disruptor, NS, Brew. This will set the new meta for atleast a year.

Boot movespeed has been changed in dota since before LoL. Lanes in dota have been 2-1-1, 2-1-2 and so on far before LoL too and trilanes aren't dead just not as dominant, you can still trilane with these changes.

I guess lvl 4 meepo could be pretty strong tho, stack jungle while laning with main, send main back to heal if necessary while laning with clone, poof back (possibly with a salve) and clear jungle, tp to base and poof back again. Like 0 downtime from lane.

They made offlane so much easier. Ahhh and the Darius... Oh sorry, the Axe. Actually I didn't even bother to read the rest. Still no ranking system, still no ladder.

Your team wins a team fight and its about time for roshan, kinda. He can spawn now, or after 3 minutes when everyone is back. They made offlane so much easier. Ahhh and the Darius... Oh sorry, the Axe. Actually I didn't even bother to read the rest. Still no ranking system, still no ladder. Isn't that the point? With the current system and how it is, everyone had the timing down perfectly. You know when he's going to respawn and everyone just crowds around, afraid to take a fight because they don't want to wipe with Roshan coming up soon. This became a stalemate for 2 minutes, with people just sitting there waiting for the other team to make a move. The new Roshan respawn adds some degree of randomness to it. There is a 3 minute window that he can respawn and that is a lot of time. By not knowing when he's going to appear exactly, you can't just sit around and do nothing anymore. If you want to sit there and wait for him to come back, you sacrifice potentially 3 minutes that you can be farming/pushing, as well as 3 minutes that the other team could be pushing on your tower/base. Do you really have the time to spare waiting around while the other team is out and destroying your base? When do you risk taking a team fight? Do I have a big enough lead or am I down significantly enough that it's worth sitting around for potentially 3 minutes doing nothing? It's a gamble on both sides with the consequences being significant at both extremes.

TBH I think the uncapped movement speed is one of the lesser important changes for bs (this abbreviation is now more justified than ever though). Global range, 50% health treshold, but no more vision around the target. Brew Aghs change feels like a nerf to me?

But seriously, the nerfs to Batrider makes me so sad T_T. From a competitive stand point it makes sense, but from a pubber it makes me depressed ![]()

How do you even make a call on that Roshan ? "It may or may not spawn in the next 30 secs so push X lane."? How ridiculous is that ?

I like it, atm the game is sometimes a little to focused on exactly the thing you seem to like. Also: Tons of heroes got "scouting" spells which are now more usefull thanks to this.
