- Gems should retain value but I wouldn't be surprised if there were new tiers (marquise not bound anymore?).

Ladder reset. The ladder will start from 0 when expansion is released, most people will probably play it looking at how D2 worked. All your items, if ladder is released(which has been datamined) will be useless.
