Bind rage generator like frenzy or cleave to A Hold down A and watch your barb chase your mouse while auto attacking any and all units in range.

I'd prefer it if the item was such that I didn't need to upgrade constantly, as in I'd prefer to get a single good item rather than 8 mediocre ones that I'd need to keep upgrading. Currently I have around 2mil to spend, will be some more as soon as I sell some of my junk(taking forever), but what should I go for with this? I already have a weapon I'm reasonably happy with. Anything I can get with this kind of money for any slot that I could keep for a long time, or is it just not enough yet? Act 2 is difficult, I don't have any exp with barbarian yet but I've heard that Zoltun Kulle dungeons might be allright to farm there I would second crms' recommendation for getting a String of Ears. You really have to hunt to find good ones in the 500k to 1mil price range (I'm not proud to say I got a little impatient with mine), but you can feel the difference having -% melee damage makes when you've got a good chunk of your basic defensive stats. Nobody of any class is actively farming act 4 by doing the actual elites to get 5 NV and then kill bosses. If you're looking to farm ACT4 just like any other class is doing it right now then yes barbs can do it, just not quite as quickly or worry-free. Definitely pretty easy though, its just a bit harder for us to switch to MF gear right before the mob dies. However, in all my runs im not sure MF does jackshit. =p I feel like if you're only expecting to get trash blues, then the MF isn't doing anything. You're not going to get more blues with your MF, and the MF doesn't affect the stat rolls/random properties on those blues. Sure you'll have higher drop rate on uniques/sets/rare, but I'm not optimistic about increasing a 0.00000001 drop chance to 0.00000003 with 200 MF.

Should be worth it either way, now that I think of it.

I'm focusing 100% on survivability and my primary role will be to constantly draw and cc enemies so that the dps has an easier job. I took a look at the barb skill list, and here's my initial plan: Bash+Clobber Seismic Slam+Stagger Ground Stomp+Wrenching Smash Ignore Pain+Mob Rule War Cry+Invigorate Call of the Ancients+Duty of the Clan Thoughts? Call of the Ancients is like useless so get rid of it. I think Frenzy + Smite is much better than Bash + Clobber. You'll want Threatening Shout with Demoralize definitely. I don't think Ignore Pain with Mob Rule is really that useful since ya... the ranged classes just fall over if they get hit. There's a lot of great skills for tanking, eg. Leap, Weapon Throw, Earthquake so it's really up to you.

I will replace Call of the Ancients with Threatening Shout+Demoralize, and Mob Rule with Iron Hide. I'm still debating on keeping Bash+Clobber though. From looking at the skill stats, if I have any attack speed bonuses from gear, Bash will have more stun and fury generation, at the cost of less damage, but I'm fine with less damage. Are there any other benefits of Frenzy?
