![[image loading]](http://www10.pic-upload.de/31.03.13/nyiyhoq4sf8.jpg) the most funny thing about it: i am currently quite puzzled as to how i can incorporate it into my build. im currently using belt and helm for the IK set bonus, with very good rare gloves and tyraels might for chest. thus, i am using non-movementspeed-iceclimbers.... here's me profile: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/BlackXistenZ-2929/hero/3406592 really dont know how to fit the mempo in there. unfortunately, it would also mean a loss of 4.7k life compared to my ik helm. and also 2% cc. if i were to switch out the gloves for IK gloves with similar stats, i would lose even more vita (and also 60 phys res...) if i switch the chest for ik chest, i would lose the movementspeed, bonus to elites and bonus to demons from tyraels might. to then get the missing movement speed, i would have to either get boots with much worse stats or give up tons of stats on the pants in order to get innas.... or should i just skip on the IK 2 set bonus altogether and get, for example, a witching hour belt? damn. the by far most valuable drop of my d3 career, the "almost perfect" drop for me as a barb (crit str mempo), and it would be hard and cost me quite some mil to even make it a true upgrade over my status quo... any ideas or suggestions? edit: i should note that i am quite poor, currently have about 70-80 mil available... so just buying a godly ik chest or godly ik gloves wont work.... | ||

Worth noting is that Mempo is close to the best thing you can have well, i have also considered that.... but one day i will want to upgrade to a crit mempo anyway... and i think crit mempos are one of the items least affected by item inflation... with people trying to find a safe haven from gold inflation, i could even imagine the prices of such mempos going up over time... and it would also feel kinda lame to find the almost perfect item for my char and to then sell it... | ||

If you want to use the mempo (you could always wait with it in your stash for the moment as well) as well as keeping 2 parts ik. you should probably save money until you can buy a ik chest (you will lose damage against demons) or gloves (probably more expensive if you want similar stats to the ones you have). All this will cost abit, but the price for not perfect ik set pieces will go down all the time. gl hmmm yes, true. for the moment, i just switched my ik helm for the mempo, temporarily giving up on IK bonus. this gives me +8.2k dps and ~ 16 net allres gain in exchange for -4.3k life.... since im mostly doing farming runs anyway, i dont need that life or additional allres right now. in the meantime, ill consider how to move on from that point. | ||

I recently gave up the IK set, balancing the loss of the set bonus with a SoJ, which in turn has left me with few possible slots for cc/ias... so a Mempo was almost needed: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/BigG-2621/hero/412709 In your case though... with 500mil you can gain much more than some dps. (as a side note, Tyrael's Might is going to lose value once patch 1.08 goes live) | ||

Anyway we'll see what they have in mind for 1.09 too, if their plan is to make the base affixes of legendaries roll depending on monster level it'll be a mess, even the best items will lose value. Echoing Fury is already OP due to the minmaxdamage bug, but at lv63 (+damage up to 50% instead of 40%, 170-200 main stat instead of 150-169) it'll make everything else disappear from the market. Pride of Cassius will be a monster as well, maybe not BiS but definitely an option. We have months before that though. | ||

As a barb noob I've felt like I've made some mistakes. I don't like my health pool, I could go for dept diggers for 10mil which would give me 150kEHP or 10k more life for a cost of 10k DPS. I've tried to save money on neck braces and gloves because I think about crafting them, so I don't wanna put too much money into it. So my question, did I fuck up with my picks? Should I go different routes somewhere, I have 65mil as a buffer. What kind of MP can I do with that, I know barbs gain mad amounts of dmg from skill buffs. | ||

- good lacunis - craft better amulet, gloves and maybe also shoulders - upgrade my gems to at least radiant star ones... not sure about marquise though - a better offhand - once i have the movement speed covered, i could get a nice ik chest. what im not quite certain of... should i go for innas pants? that would solve my movementspeed problem in the long run and get me to a higher breakpoint if combined with one more ias piece. but what else should i upgrade? | ||

Ive been reading a lot about the new ruby vs 110% emerald and honestly didnt really manage to find what i need. So im just going to ask here if thats ok. Thats my gear http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/chukolna-2897/hero/10555000 Ruby gives me a bit less damage when i tried with 100/130 gems -2k unbuffed to -10k fully buffed(not sure how would go with 110/160). But isnt high weapon damage means more skill scaling aswell, since im using rend/WW/overpowered/sprint that means over all i will overcome this -10k damage fully buffed by a lot. I`m only farming mp10 level 2 and im doing it really fast tbh, but this is what im generally going to use it for. Some uber boss farming with friends aswell. Swapping WW for HotA Also since im here what do you think i should upgrade from my gear, bear in mind that i dont really have much gold right now. Cannot afford this 1-2bil items, actually i cant even afford 500mil items. Ive been thinking to change to random legs with high str/vita all res and lacuni. Probably gonna lose a lot of damage but gain a lot of Vita. | ||

(900 dps weapon, 500% cd without considering the weapon socket or something like that.) so yes, got for the emerald. this actually raises an important question: how much percent of your dps comes from rend? if this percentage is high, then a non-crit mempo might not be the best choice since, as i mentioned above, rend does not use ias or base weapon speed. its based on the raw damage of the weapon. Also since im here what do you think i should upgrade from my gear, bear in mind that i dont really have much gold right now. If you want Lacuni + Inna's pants your main priority is vitality, so get better shoulders (100+ vit), Ice Climbers with vit and of course a good IK chest. Then I think you'll be a little short on damage reduction, so maybe Inna's pants or IK helm with 60ar will be the way to go. You're going to replace the ruby with an amethyst anyways, so the loss of vitality shouldn't hurt there. If you go for Inna's with ar then I'll suggest an IK helm with 250str. As for the weapons, your EF is very good. On the other hand (literally), the dagger could be improveable on paper even though you'll probably be forced to get a sword since high dps daggers go for hundreds of millions. (As a side note, if someone didn't noticed it... the EU AH is filled with crafted axes/swords/mighty weapons with ~1000-1100dps, ~100 main stat, life steal and socket. Not sure if they're duping materials or what, but I find it a bit suspicious since weapons like that come to the AH literally once every few seconds) | ||
