Still archon and cm/ww. As people get richer, and as they buff higher MPs (with XP, MF and GF), people are leaning more towards the more expensive and high-MP cm/ww, but archon is still going strong as well.

I think for speed farming on low MP blizzard builds are actually faster than archon. There were some discussions of this maybe 5-10 pages back in this thread.

As you can see, I play CM/WW but I’m not so sure about what’s going on towards the new patch. I mean, now I can freeze here and there and I’m useful to my friends but… Archon is very promising in PTR. I am confused.

The question is: to improve my wiz what can I do? Wait for patch and a archon/meteor build or not?
I’m stuck on the amulet you can see on my profile, it’s not so good but I crafted it and there is LOH that I cannot lose. In my shoes, what would you change/improve with less than a billion? Thank you

dark mage's shade is so hilarious. they apparently buffed legendaries, but that thing is so bad its funny. i can't sell it for peanuts, i have too much crafting material already, and it's not worth a space in my stash so I might actually end up vendoring a high level legendary. and the sad thing is it actually looks better than half the other head slots out there.

You can sell the brimstone for more than the vendoring price. But yes, you will find plenty of legendaries that can't be sold for more than the brimstone price.

It's ilvl 58. Only ilvl 60+ legendaries guarantee brimstones.

I think Dark Mage's Shade and Death Watch Mantle are the only two that still drop in inferno that don't brim? Someone correct me please.

If you're committed to Archon I would spend 10-15 million on the best triumvirate you can find, and then another 20-30 million on a better weapon (black, with a socket or closer to 100% crit damage, or both!). Your pants can be easily upgraded for 5-10 million, as can your shoulders.

I duno what I'm commited to, dunno what builds are viable now. Was runnin the permafreeze build for higher mp farming and boss fights, archon for mp012 farming.

Depends on your DPS, and at least for me in Hardcore I'm finding Act 1 to be really good for archon on a higher MP than I could handle in act 3.
