And @Almin, yes if she slowed down it would help but if you notice... saying things like... "He is making a standard depot" when the terran is at 10 food... standard depot rly? at 10 food? Might as well say "6 SCVs are mining now" at the start of the game... obvious much? I dunno, we will see I guess! =D | ||

Someone linked a video and thought it was Kellymilkies casting when it was JacZie. The poster removed the video but I had it quoted so you could still see the video, but I removed it. | ||

However, I do trust that GOM was careful and attentive in picking the right caster. With knowledge of numerous other casters who have applied, and are better than Kelly, I can only assume that factors apart from casting ability were instrumental in deciding who got the job. I only wish that GOM gave us more details than she "had a good resume" and other candidates had "personal issues." | ||

She's from Singapore so it's more convenient for her and for GOM, and that is probably the main reason why. | ||

Critical factor to this casting job is that you have to be able to stay and live in Korea. While it would be fun to get some of the more famous western casters, having to live in Korea would be one hell of a "personal issue" to deal with. | ||

They probably saw female, experience, and minority and threw all the other applications in the trash. | ||

On the bright side, this is only for code A and really, how many games do you normally watch on that circuit? Me personally its between 5-10 tops. | ||

I guess it is just that sick "breaking up" feeling you get when you aren't able to see the same two people you've been watching season after season make you die laughing. The reason Artosis and Tasteless are so good isn't JUST because they are smart and funny, but because the past they've shared together is so deep that you feel like you are part of their wolfgang when watching. Not to mention, no more "to all the guys and the 10 girls out there watching this live, Hello from Seoul Korea" Anyway, to end on a positive note, I hope she can pair up well with the guys and has become a better caster since the youtube video that has been put up on this thread. | ||

This announcement does not mean that the search for the best commentators/casters for GSL Code A is over. With that being said, we at GOMtv would like to let you know that we will keep on improving to better serve our customers and the community and to contribute to the further development of eSports. Wow this sounds like Gom is apologizing for hiring her, or that she isn't good enough. | ||

That being said, I suppose we can only wait and see how it turns out since maybe things will end up better than expected. We can only go up from here I suppose. edit: Tried watching a full youtube video and just couldn't do it. I wonder what people would think if FOX/etc hired someone with Engrish/etc to cast a football game/etc. @_@ | ||
