Also, for those talking about an accent... removing an accent isn't required, so long as a conscious effort to speak clearly is made on her part. You'd be surprised how much you can understand in almost any thick accent if they make sure to emphasize the right part of a word or simply try not to slur words much. I'm much more curious to see how she'll work with Tasteless and Artosis than I am worried about her accent. edit: That said. Everybody should chip in and have Chill move to Korea and start casting. And give this girl a chance. I mean casting with artosis will be no problem, since he got skills to explain the situation etc.. she just has to fill the gaps then. Problematic could be the casts with tasteless where none of them is a sc2 genius.. (maybe im wrong with tasteless, because probably every1 would look like a noob when sitting next to artosis) | ||

I don't like the "she had a good resume" line though. She may have a resume stretching out through a lot of major tournaments but that doesn't mean she did a good job with those tournaments (because she didn't). I will reserve ultimate judgement (and the purchase of a ticket) until I see the first cast by her. Being in Australia, watching free is not difficult for me at all because the games start at 5pm, and given that the HQ Stream is not THAT much better quality than the SQ stream, the advantages of the season ticket are much less for me than they would be for someone in the US who can't stay up late and who needs the VODs. As such, I am perfectly happy to leech off GOM's free stream and send them a message by voting with my wallet that I am not happy with this choice. But, she may surprise us. So I will wait and see. | ||
