Only one replacement and she's from Asia ? Makes me think GOM is going for the cheaper option here ( US / EU casters would probably ask for more & cost more ). Not a surprise tho , I remember people talking about GOM being understaffed etc a few GSL's ago , maybe they are trying to keep staff expenses at minimum.

OMG WTF... I can't believe they picked her of all people. This makes no sense. There are so many better qualified people who've been casting for years and dying for a chance. I am seriously tempted to switch to the Korean audio. (Anyone have the link?) At least Tasteless/Artosis will be there.
But, her accent is so strong and annoying. I'm Asian with very Asian parents and very Asian wife. Making this statement so much more true. If this was a locational issue. I much prefer Jason Lee or Torch, weren't they available? Did non-English speaking people make this decision? What happened?
I personally think this is offensive to women everywhere. The first thing my GF said when she heard about this was "Thats it, you CANT buy another season pass".
That being said I think its sad that the non-native English community gets screwed over even more. I let a few of my friends who aren't that proficient in English listen to some her casts and they couldn't understand every other word. This is going to be a disaster.
Another thing I don't understand is people saying that she will improve her English - in a country where no one speaks english and I bet finding a english-speech-therapist is quite hard to find.
I feel I must also be clear that I do not criticize Kelly personally at all. All the best to her. The responsibility for this lies entirely with GOM.

Totally... why hire a Swedish person with no English knowledge whatsoever.. You can either choose to not listen to it or to get used to it. People don't understand what she's saying, that's the biggest problem.

Maybe it is because I don't play DOTA and have no clue what is going on, thus making it harder for me to approximate what she is saying. I hope she takes a breath when commentating SC2 so we can hear clearly

Except ipp makes sense when he talks he just sounds a bit different, just like she would sound if she didnt burst into complete nonsense everytime she increased the tempo of her voice. Also he isnt casting the most prestigious starcraft 2 tournament around that we pay to watch.
