![]() Intel sponsor is nice, just like Sony was. I kind of liked Sony more though because at least they are not pc-related. Now that intel is sponsoring gsl, iem, dreamhack, (maybe even MLG also?)... It seems e-sports has all their eggs in one basket. What is to say intel is going to stick around or stay loyal to sc2?

Open Season 1: TG Sambo / Intel ![]() Open Season 2: Sony Ericsson ![]() Open Season 3: Sony Ericsson ![]() GSL January: Sony Ericsson ![]() GSL Team League: No Sponsor ![]() GSL March: No Sponsor ![]() Although as I just refreshed the page now, the text beside the image has been updated to say: GOM TV presents 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ GSL Mar. following GSL Jan. 64 Code S & Code A players, who were selected through the fierce competitions during GSL Jan. and Up and Down matches, are ready to battle it out to claim the title of the best. The bold part wasn't there half an hour ago so I imagine the image will be updated with an Intel logo soon. Yay Intel! <3

Yeah from what I understand every tournament is sponsored in itself, it's run by GomTV and they find a sponsorship partner that payes sponsorship to get their name/products on the show and tournament.

![]() I wonder if this has anything to do with IEM getting less money for their next big event, intel spreading it out and investing big into several tournies instead of investing pretty huge into a few.

You know it's a big deal when they get a group to come on and perform.
