Nevertheless, Intel has been a long supporter of e-sports after sponsoring past GSLs, the old GOM Classic BW tournament, and SlayerS_BoxeR, so it's great seeing them again. Also, I'm very interested in seeing more Kpop in GSL. Perhaps having Secret perform at the GSL finals will draw a bigger crowd. Considering that they had IU announce player names in previous GSLs, perhaps they will have Secret do the same.

What's the difference between Sony sponsoring and Intel? either Sony Ericsson was no longer interested in sponsoring GSL and GOM accepted whatever bid Intel gave them (bad outcome) or Intel outbid Sony Ericsson to sponsor GSL (good outcome)

Intel is so sick, they are a top hardware manufacturer who supports e-sports. I need a new motherboard and cpu, I am going Intel.

The day I see the first Pepsi GSL, or Coca Cola GSL, or even the Cadbury GSL, is the day I'll be super fucking happy.

The whole of TL.net should cover at a good chunk of the western world population. Good move from Intel.

![]() I'm already of the opinion that Intel is the way to go for processors, but now they've cemented my loyalty with all they've been doing and the desktop I get soon will definitely have an Intel processor.

What we really want is more mainstream companies sponsoring it, because it will mean the GSL has attracted enough mainstream attention for them to justify it. The day I see the first Pepsi GSL, or Coca Cola GSL, or even the Cadbury GSL, is the day I'll be super fucking happy. Umm PepsiCo has already been cosponsoring GSL.
