I think you can do it in the config file. For a while 1440x disappeared from my options while I was waiting for my 5770 to get in and I was able to use the config files. Im not that concerned with frame rates, its just hard as hell for me to see with ultra terrain textures with the little grass swaying and distracting me.
Of course I am the sort of person who freaked out every time a kekaru or pandabearguy moved.

I'm no expert but I just find it interesting that it would have been the best choice had the AMD Phenom II X4 955 been matched up with the 1GB ATI Radeon 5770.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Heres a guiz for you,ive updated my setup a few mouths ago before the beta started just to be safe(heck a BLIZZARD game cant be all that demanding, right?) to the following
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 overclocked to 3.8Gz RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR2 800 GX: Card:Geforce GTX 295 2668MB on a 1920x1080 OC: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit PSU: CorsairTX750W
How much FPS should i have been getting>?Thanks
|
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU: Intel Core Duo E7650 OC'd to 2.84 (from 2.66) Memory: 4GB DDR2 Graphics: 1024 DDR3 9800GT Green Edition Hard Drives: HDD Screen: 1920x1200
Runs game on low with constant 100+ FPS
Runs game on ultra about 30 FPS (less during action...)
Oddly, Ultra is the recommended settings for me, but i don't see how anyone could play competitively when your fps drops to 16 or something everytime theres a bit of action
|
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. MOBO: Not sure. Memory: 4GB DDR2 Processor: Tripple core processor @ 2.3Ghz Graphic card: HD 5850 1GB GDDR5 (XFX) Power: Corsair 550 HDD: 1 7200RPM 320GB and 1 7200RPM 500GB.
I play the game with all settings at the maxed without any lagg.
