2GB RAM 9800GT Windows 7 64bit I'm hovering around the recommended specs, so I'm hoping everything will be OK at least for 1v1s. I may get 4GB of ram though.

You can run it on high I'm pretty sure. You got a better cpu and card than me, and I can run it on medium.

Intel Core2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.50GHz 8GB DDR2-SDRAM (PC2-6400/800MHz) GeForce 9800GT 512MB 2x 500GB SATA HD Was thinking of upgrading the graphics card (maybe to ATI 5770 1GB or something for about $250), but may just wait till D3 comes out and just get a whole new rig. How should this handle SCII?

Intel i7 920 @ 2.67GHz 8GB DDR3 RAM AMD Radeon HD 5770 700 HD Runs the game on ultra with no problems, even with massive amounts of units. Before though... Blah, had a bad computer that ran at all low settings.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition Processor: i5-750 Quad-Core 2.66GHz RAM: 4GB PC3-10600 DDR3 1333MHz Video Card: XFX, Radeon HD 5770 850MHz, 1GB Hard Drive: 1TB Also came with DVD burner and all the other standard stuff. Pretty good deal I think. I'll probably cannibalize the 2GB of Ram I have in my other computer and put it in the new one. Game runs flawlessly on the highest settings regardless of how many units there are.

How should this handle SCII? You'll be completely fine. You're overestimating the graphics needs of a game whose engine is already nearly 3 years old. Get a 5770 if you want to future proof but a 9800gt will be perfectly fine for d3/sc2, especially if overclocked. Off topic, haven't seen this thread in a long time. I thought Frag Krag killed it with the other one, but it seems to have faded into obscurity now.
